What are you possibly talking about? The last two periods have been nothing but high quality chances.
lol - Flyers1218
I don’t think Stolarz has had to be great. He has been solid. He hasn’t given up soft goals. I don’t think Florida is even playing well.
They have better talent and capitalize on the chances they do have.

That game is on the goaltender.
Two absolutely atrocious goals against. One that hits him in the chest that he can’t hold and another that goes through his glove. Just brutal. |

Yeah a 6th round pick for a veteran will cripple their future. Give me a break. What would be more useful a veteran backup G or Gurianov picking splinters out of his ass. They have literally zero chance to win any game Ersson doesn’t start. |

2 open nets, no puck luck and just shaky goal tending on few shots. - wcorvette

I don’t agree the flyers have dominated. They have more shots but not high quality chances. - bird_dog_pa
High danger scoring chances for the game were 17-6 Flyers. They were 11-1 Flyers in the 3rd period.
Flyers lost the goaltending battle in this one.

Team A started an NHL caliber goaltender
Team B didn’t
That rarely ends well for Team B |

Show me what backup went for a sixth . And I wanted Martin Jones, don’t know what the price was. Still, you b!tch about every little thing anyways but what else is new |

At the time he would have. Now I’m not sure with the issue with Johansen. - Flyers1218
So, would you rather have Raanta or a first round pick? |

Hartnell is brain numb. He says "what a kill by the Flyers". - MJL
His hair care products are leaking into his brain. It sounded like he was annoying Jim Jackson. On on one icing call Jackson said touch up and Harnell said there no touch up anymore.
It was a none factor but he had to throw in comment to correct him. It sounded petty. |

Exactly….he didn’t let two softies in….that’s the difference. Your not winning games against good teams when your goaltending is that bad. |

As bad as he was they scored one goal, and it took a 6 on 4 to do it. Just not their night, couldn’t get the puck in . Goalie stunk no doubt but one of those nights overall. |

Ultimately that’s why I think Florida is better. They have a better backup goalie and more talent up front.
In a seven game series I’d have to pick the panthers.
Barkov and Ekblad weren’t even playing I don’t think. |

The effort was there all game long. The outplayed the Panthers. The Panthers were sitting back a little after getting the lead and were missing their top center and two top defenseman. Flyers didn't finish and Sandstrom didn't play well. I think all 3 Panthers goals were save able shots.

Absolutely, they are the better team. Their GM is Bill Zito. Name should sound familiar becaue they interviewed him and hired Chuck Fletcher. Small consilation prize is Fletcher getting in return for the G trade. |

That’s not what I’m implying. I believe he would have fit until Johansen reported he was injured and couldn’t be sent down. Now I’m not sure he would have fit without another corresponding move.
But I leave that to someone more in the know. |

Cap wise? They had plenty of space with the availability of being able to place Ellis on LTIR.
