Watched all but the 3rd, and clearly did NOT miss much there.

As a whole it looked more like pond hockey and sloppy, and Woll was not bailing them out in net either. That said hard to expect anyone to be bailing them out. Leaf fans were spoiled with Cujo and Belfour making bad teams look far better over the years. Woll is fine as a backup, spot starter, but he isn't really ready to carry the load. He was definitely running hot but the injury clearly threw him off and he hasn't settled back into a similar groove.

Between Special Teams, Goaltending, and Keefe's coaching we definitely are in the worst shape in the past few years, but then also expected when we sold the farm last year and all Dubas' paid for additions literally walked out the door.

At this point it is all rather wait and see but not liking our odds overall.

Well their best players been on LTIR. Ha

Guess it only counts for when their players are out and not the leafs.

I only watched the highlights, but they have played 3 games in 4 nights and have had a pretty compressed schedule since before the all-star break.

Let's get the playoffs already; we're all weary of Leafs regular season hockey already.

I find it funny how people think Leafs are all soft and yet big bad vegas is sitting in the 2nd wild card spot.
- Aaron_85

They have a recent cup win, so who cares how they are playing. Winning a cup provides lots of leaway.
Also, this is a leafs blog, not vegas so its understandable that we arent talking about big bad vegas.
Anywho, its just a Tuesday game, im sure the leafs will play better against the caps. They'll bounce back, besides its just not a leafs blog if the sky isnt falling or the leafs arent so awesome.

Some only rip on Marner because they are tired of the constant verbal diarrhea from Artic Allbark…..

See you threw in the towel for your boy Mitch. Must have done it on Pm. Not surprised 2nd time you prove to be a major coward.

Woll is not the answer.

Our goaltending is my biggest worry this year for playoffs.

I think the team is fortified enough not to shrivel but they're still not going far. Someone posted it earlier, they're not that good. They're better than the Phaneuf era and I think that's why some get over excited about their potential.

Lily should've been traded for an upgrade. Needs a fresh start some where else. He's sloppy and soft.

Leafs have also been inundated with flu and injuries and the Keefe blender never lets them gel in any way.

LOCK.THE.FU3KING.LINEUP.AND.LEAVE.IT.THE.FU3K.ALONE.

Keefe sucks. Keefe should be fired.

- underhill14

I think Tre will replace him. I think prior to the draft he is let go.

Missing Marner, Rielly and new tough dman Edmundson and people want to say this team sucks. Not going to win every game. No big deal, it's game 71. I'm sure some are starting to coast into the playoffs and just want to be healthy going into them.
- Aaron_85

they haven't locked a spot yet for the playoffs.
no coasting till then imo.

If the leafs go on a deep run, Tre may keep him.
If they don't, its time to move on from him.

Nashville is quietly piling up points. I don't think too many people had an 18 game point streak on their bingo card.

Boston just had to come back against Florida and won. I am hoping they are gassed tonight versus the Lightning. Tampa always brings their A game against Boston, so tonight is an opportunity for them to gain ground on the Leafs. With a win tonight, Tampa will only be 2 points back. The mathification on this one is getting interesting.

Last night's loss doesnt mean anything to me, but for a team like the leafs who have been inconsistent, dont seem to have too much of a team structure and have only made the 2nd round once in 7 years.....there should definitely not be any coasting from anyone.

You guys are crazy.

Sammy I would jettison if he doesn't play well over the playoffs, which is his spot to lose.

He had a great year last year, but has been up and down so far and has played way more hockey.

Woll's still very much worth hanging onto.

Even if their numbers were identical, Woll looks and plays big in net, Sammy plays small, and they're the same height! Woll is far more structurally sound and calm in net. Sammy's prone to mental breakdowns as we've seen before this year. I just don't get that from Woll; ditching him would be a big mistake.

EDIT: I just realized you were talking about Keefe, not Woll.

I'm gonna leave a 5-star review.

Leafs are going to win that game 9 times out of 10. Play like against teams (like Boston or Florida) that don’t allow you to run free in their own end like NJ did and you’ll win 3 out of 10 if you’re lucky.

Comeback? From what?

You still celebrating that cup from 30 years ago?

Can we at least get some trash talk from a team that's done something in the last generation?

I'd take an Avs or Vegas fan more seriously.

You should be worrying about the Lightning bouncing you from the playoffs again...and again...and again. Spoiler alert : it's gonna happen again.

That is your second free reply. Further entertainment will cost you more than you can afford.

yo! Douchebag were you even alive the last time the laffs won a cup!? Very weak.! You’re an embarrassment! Your useless team one a playoff round last year for the first time In what ten years? I don’t know for sure because the laffs have been irrelevant for so long I don’t really pay attention unless someone like you tries to talk poop about the mighty laffs! Your nothing but an ahole with a mouth

LOL. Wut?

I'm a Lightning fan first, and in case you haven't noticed, the Lightning absolutely own your Rangers. The wet feeling on your back? That's the Lightning's playoff loads from eliminating your pretender team again and again.

As far as the Leafs go, they have made it past the first round more recently than the Rangers. And they did it by eliminating a team the blueshirts can't beat to save their lives.

You should be more worried about getting bounced by Tampa again.
