has it ever occurred to you that perhaps Hutson doesn't want to skip any steps in his own development, and actually thinks that going straight to the NHL wouldn't be a very smart idea for him and his career moving forward?
you might want to think about it before calling people stupid. you're literally the only person I've heard talking about this. - Pat1993
Look at the pictures people are posting to insult me and you will understand my reply…
You also can listen Dubé on the radio:

well the rest of the hockey world isn't talking about this, so I guess you and Dany Dubé have some special insight... you can't make comments like that and not expect people to react in such a way. and it's just one picture of a guy looking at his ass, pretty sure you can handle it |

With that frame, I don't think he wants any part of the NHL that soon.. - pete26
He will play on the PPlay, 4 on 4 and in OT…
What is amazing is people thinking that the AHL is less demanding physically than the NHL…
There is a lot of underachievers in the AHL that are playing cheap….
Time will tell… but many will forget…. LOL

yeah, but the calibre of play isn't the same, it doesn't require the same reaction time as in the NHL. it would still be skipping steps for him to go straight to the big league imho.

Absolutely…. It is just that you read the posts and there are all kind of theories and certainties like:
« He will start at Laval to improve this and that… » which are based on absolutely nothing…
And when some are not in agreement, they post crap…
And some are comparing Hutson and Farrell…. Tabarnak….
You know… some Russians believe that Kiev is behind the ISIS attack…. So people believe what they want to believe…
On devrait envoyer Hutson jouer avec le Kloten… Il va pouvoir apprendre à patiner de reculons dans la puck pis il ne se fera pas bobo…

Yep ... the AHL is a necessary stepping stone for most players (especially defensemen). |

how is that not based on anything..?? kids go through the AHL all the time to perfect their game before going to the NHL, so I'm not sure where you're going with this. heck, Xhekaj was sent down and it made a world of difference when he was called up lol.

ça peut arriver dans n'importe quelle ligue, pas sûr que c'est un argument en soi. |

If he can't take care of himself then he has no business playing at that hockey level. |

I 100% agree with you for a 18YO junior hockey draftee but for a 20YO NCAA who can sign wherever…. Not sure about that…
I will repeat myself:
Huston signs in coming weeks, play couple of games, burn 1 year of his entry level contract…
He does the rookie camp, he does the big camp… He starts as a 7th D, playing in conditions that make him develop and perform( PP, 4 on 4, OT…)
If after 15-20 games he is not progressing(same (frank)ing thing than Caufield back in time…) They will send him in Laval to play more… and eventually come back…
What will help him is that we have one of the crappiest PP n the league and this is Hutson bread and butter…

Exactly….He was sent down after failing when season started…. Same for Hutson… They will try him and if he fails, they will send him down…
