Well, the franchise rode Michael Leighton to a SC final. There really are no surprises with the Flyers and goaltending. I am convinced 1 of the Russians will play against CLB. Now, that has to be a first, playing a goalie who isn t even in the country a week earlier. 😀

Definitely, Couts needs to play more minutes. He should be getting more PK time, and for the love of God, Attard should not be on the PK unless the other 4 defenseman are dead.

one of the worst games i've watched. we deserve to miss the playoffs with that effort. sanheim slow to cover even their mid-tier players. he played awful. for every good play frost makes he makes 2 boneheaded plays. coots playing like a man possessed by an entity that's never seen hockey before. frustrating all around. even with the called back goals and refs missing some calls - no excuse that was pure bullsh!t

Poehling is a made man with Torts now. Poehling and Laughton should not both be on the roster next season. They need to reunite the Cates- Poehling-Hathaway.

Let down games and games where you don't have energy happen but the timing couldn't have been worse. A game against an inferior opponent with Wash and Detroit losing. Opportunity blown.

Didn't see the second or third period, but this is a bad loss. Why? The Habs just came back from a west coast road trip and you'd think they'd be the sluggish team. I was worried about the gauntlet hangover and it appears my fears were realized. Isles won and now they are only 5 points back with 2 games in hand, and they play the Flyers Monday night. Two points are a necessity Saturday night or this boat is gonna be taking on some serious water.

Yeah, that's why they have to get two points. This team can lose to anyone if they show up with their heads up their collective asses. I only saw the first like I said, but they looked totally uninspired. How does that happen at this time of year? I thought Coots looked bad in the first period. Falling down and behind the play. I'm afraid he just may be cooked as well as Atkinson. Wow, York with 28 minutes of TOI this evening. Guess there is no doubt as to who their #1 defender is these days. I wanna see this team EARN their way to the dance...not sneak in some back door cause the other teams fell on their faces.

30-17 in SOG. Flyers played well enough. Goalies and finishing were the difference. WAS and DET both lost. Disappointing but not the end of the road. Flyers offense needs to wake the F up and we need Errson to get back to form and/or some Russian love.
