The species actually has alot of conflics with big cats, it shares territory with tigers and leopards. There's multiple recordings on tiger and leopards eating single individuals and packs of Dholes hunting Leopards and Tigers.

Oh and mandrills (think Rafiki in the Lion king) will have a brand new outside enclosure so they will be able to enjoy the sunshine and open air and a bigger enclosure all summer.

Yeah! One of the species with the most notable difference between males and females. It's the only animal in case one gets out that the male is priority 1 and the female a priority 2.

Yeah! alot of people haven't. It's charismatic, their enclosure is gorgeous it's the biggest we have everbuilt after the african savana. They have a cascade with a pool they can swim in, apparently they like water. And it's a species we can really have an impact in their conservation plan.

Hopefully the pool will be more popular then the hot springs in the japaneese macaque enclosure which they have never used.
