You misunderstood man. No troll job at all. I’m saying I would actually cheer for them (as much as a fan of another would cheer) if they were in Cup Finals against a US based franchise (other than Wings which isn’t happening).
I also pointed out that in all seriousness - the Canucks are never really if ever talked about. They are just one of those franchises that are not really thought about. So ti say the entire country would go out if their way to hate them and cheer against them is inaccurate. Maybe it’s cause Canucks fans cheer against others and celebrate other teams losses as much as they celebrate their own teams win - that makes it hard to imagine that nobody really cares about your team. - Big23Questions
There is much lacking in this post. Too much to get into tbh. |

The Canucks are a west coast team. They will never get the viewership of some of the east teams because more than half of the television audience has tuned out by the time the majority of their games begin.
The team is actually mentioned frequently during US national telecasts, mostly because they're one of the top teams in the league. I guess during regional telecasts for teams like the Wings, similar teams to the Wings such as Ottawa and Buffalo are often discussed due to their relative position in the standings and lack of success.
Toronto is another talking point for largely the same reasons and also prioritizes divisional teams as they can't seem to get by them for the most part. Hell, I bet they rarely talk about teams like Colorado during Leafs games.
Real contenders typically watch the entire league. We all got a good chuckle out of you saying you'd cheer for the Canucks. |

Probably because of the 10 pm start in the east. |

If the league put Canuck games at 7pm eastern every Saturday night on HNIC we might have more fans 😆 |

The Leafs will not allow a 2nd team into the "centre of the hockey universe". Meanwhile, NY has 3 of them. |

Lekkerimäki got his 1st AHL point against Colorado tonight. He's getting games in. Great news.

Wonder if he impresses/doesn't seem out of place if they'll think about bringing him up to the big club and not want him to go to the Worlds. His scoring ability could be helpful (though I fully realize this is a very long shot) |

I wonder , with his recent slump , if they should send EP down to Abby to find his game and start developing chemistry with Likkermaki? Might be an idea for the future of the big club and finding someone to help EP earn his new huge cap hit. !

Nobody cares enough the Canucks either way to ‘hate’ them - hell I may even cheer for them if they get to Cup final. Would be nice to see a Canadian team win. But the entire country cheer against them? - Big23Questions
That was mostly the case in 2011 thanks to clowns like Ron Maclean and a few others. Hard to say how it would be this year if the club went deep in the PO's would we be 'Canada's Team' ? lol doubt it.
I was actually shocked that Ron Maclean wasn't selling Kelly Sutherland Ref jerseys on the CBC broadcasts back in 2011. Good times. |

I think the Coaching staff will have these guys ready. They just need to stay healthy and get their PP in order. - Load Management
Ya think? Why would you think that? The line combinations and deployments of late have me wondering. Like the players, are the coaches squeezing the stick a little too tightly? |

I think with all the (playing) experience on the coaching staff, they have some idea what they're doing. To me it looks like they're trying to spark guys a little, and get some looks at different combinations (if need be in playoffs form injuries or bad play). They usually play really well coming out of some steady practice time, and they'll have 4-5 days to prepare after the end of the season. |
