Per below, I'll be up to Pegula and Adams if the blame is on the coaches, players, or both.
LOL 🤣🤣🤣😅😂😅😂

“It will be up to Pegula and Adams to decide why the Sabres were never able to get on a roll, whether the fault lies solely with the players, coach or both, and if only slight tweaks are needed to the roster.”
Lance must still have large amounts of liberal arts college debt….that article is brutal. |

In terms of a player comparable? Not sure.
I think there’s a good chance he’s our best or second best forward when he’s 22 years old.
He’s going to be a two way stud - sbroads24
If he turns into a winger version of Point, I will be ecstatic. Please, let it be! |

Skating is just so far off from Point’s skating.
Same with Marner
Those comps just don’t work for me
Marchand is closer for me because he’s going to be a great player + an absolute pest

Point's skating was nothing special early on in his career, so there's plenty of hope in that regard with professional instruction and improvement.
The Marchand comparison is a good one as Benson has been honing his rat game in the past month or two. |

The only problem with the Marchand comparison is I don’t think he has the scoring touch.
I went with Marner as the playmaking two hundred foot force.

What other coach in any sport keeps his job in this scenario? It’s a joke of epic proportions.
Fire the GM than if he won’t fire the coaches.
Why wait? Send a message now |

Cause Pegula says NO at this point. If Adams had any Balls he would step up and Tell Pegula he is running his Team into the Ground. Either give Me Full Control or find someone else! Starting to seem he's just collecting a check. |

If you had to pick a player going forward, are you picking soft Tage or try hard Benson? - washedup20
I am ALL for trading Tage...not saying he sucks because he doesn't. It appears he may be a 1.0 ppg player. That isn't good enough at 1C IMO. And, it is exasperated by playing soft when 6'5" - 220 , and further a turnover machine. At age 26, have we already seen his peak? |

I think it’s worth mentioning that he’s been healthy for maybe the last 10-15 games and our PP is hot garbage and he still might hit 30 goals.
$7M is 2C money these days, and I think he’s more of the guy we saw the last two years then this years version.
Ditto Cozens.
Good that we have Peterka, Quinn (barring health), Benson, Savoie, Kulich that look like game breakers at the wing position also |

I'm not shooting the messenger. I'm just simply asking the questions...
Why would the Oilers trade for Savoie?
Who are they trading us, besides Draisaitl?
Sabres aren't giving that kid away for spare parts, and after McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH and Bouchard, they have nothing we want. |

As much as I love Bouchard, we also have Dahlin and Power making $$$$ already and they just acquired Byram.
It would have to be Leon or else I’m confused |

Adams is worried about paying Byram and Tuch in the near future, it's not another D man. |
