big murr could get those numbers
nice cough on the pp though by benson |

I actually like what Adams has done and think Granato / Matt Ellis are the major problems.
Granato:
Routinely played okposo too much
Played Erik Johnson over Ryan Johnson
The PP by Granato / Ellis has been pathetic
Greenway place on the top 2 lines
Greenway on the PP
Granantos line combinations are pathetic
Team 85-90% of games come out flat
Tage cozens tuch all sucking
The list of bad coaching goes on and on - Sabretooth9
Agreed that Granato's message got stale this year but they needed another top-4 dman and a top-6 forward going into this year. Also UPL and the other goalies were mediocre or worse before new years and they needed another one of those. All of that is on Kevyn |

Samuelsson and Ryan Johnson in the top 4 over joker. Easy fix.
Quinn would be your top 6 guy. He just can’t stay healthy.
I think of cozens tage and tuch play 60% of last years production. We make playoffs but they have stunk all year
Also amazes me how they couldn’t call up Kulich to give him a chance to play games and nope. |

I don’t hate Bryson as the 7th d.
Bryson is well liked in the room. Aka country club lifestyle in the room. |

Adams knew in June '23 that he wasn't an option though. And Clifton was their big idea for a top-4 staple with EJ as their depth guy. Both dmen were busts in their roles. |

He knew the second injury was coming ?
Common now.
Adams not firing the amateur coaching staff is his demise |

Quinn was hurt in June of last year and they knew he wouldn't be available until Christmas. That's what I'm talking about.
Then Kevyn thought he'd land Kane, and well... |

Benson was the hedge, Kane was the bet.
He struck out on P Kane but Quinn coming back in January afforded more than enough time.
Adams not firing the three stooges is the firable offence |

A football executive, a waitress, a gas man and a tennis player’s sister…. What a presidential lineage this team has!!!
Can’t wait for 13 more years of “success” |

Disagree. Benson wasn't a hedge, he was just the best option Granato had out of Jost, Olofsson and the rest of the Amerks who weren't ready. Benson has done an admirable job but he's the result of an inadequate roster construction. They needed another real top-6 option |

So an undersized rookie 18 year old was your hedge and you roll into the season with 3 goalies and Donnie buries the college kid out of the gate….
This entire organization from president Terry down needs to frank off… keep Ventura cause no one listens to him and karamonos
Put someone at the top that knows the game… stupid billionaire owner…

We’ll never know. Savoie lasted 3 minutes here and Kulich and Rosen never got an extended look.
I thought this year was the year to push the chips to the table, they apparently prioritized another year of development.
I’m just as stumped as the rest of you.
Playoffs were attainable with an NHL coaching staff.
Time to see what happens this offseason |

Well, you cannot make the playoffs so just keep tanking. Why get injured this late in the season and mess up your summer vacation. |

Again, disagree. The defense additions were duds, they brought back the culture twins instead of adding actually valuable forwards, and they only had one goalie (who only showed up after Christmas) |

“Dahlin says their PP never really found rhythm all year, says they might be in a playoff spot if they found a power play”
“Tuch says other teams were better getting games to OT, keeping games close, they know other teams got loser points while they didn't“
At least the leaders of the team are self ware |

E Johnson sucked, real coaching staff sends him to the gulag 20 games in.
Clifton was just fine in his role.
Coach decided to bench Ryan Johnson.
Took a season ending injury to Samuelsson to finally break up the Dahlin-Samuelsson and Power-Joker pairs that never worked.
Acquired Byram and after three games he got neutered and spent the majority of the season on a pair with Joker that never worked.
Good thing the coach ignores the analytics |
