I have a hunch he might be done after this year. Think of the weird crap he has done. I know it is easy to say Torts has done this before, but so much in one season? The highlights- getting kicked out of a game, saying no captain this season, naming a captain and scratching him, not doing pre game and post game interviews, then excuse I had family in the building and wanted to spend time with them (maybe he should have scratched himself). Seems to me this feels like a farewell tour and Torts going out in a blaze of glory.

Well, they hired Torts with the expectation of not being in rebuild. Now, you can say are they rebuilding now? They traded a top 4 Dman, all star ( I know a joke) fwd, tried to trade another top 4 Dman - trade nixed, traded another top 4 Dman at the deadline, and took on 2 salaries (1 over the summer and 1 at the deadline) in trades. I do think they are rebuilding. but wish more should have been done. Have the opportunity to do more this summer.

Since the Flyers lost, it's not a real game. This is what I've learned.

Last card Torts can play is start Fedotov on Monday. Hope the boys work their butts off to forecheck and block shots.

Laughts and tk even hart (I know) had high trade value last year. Didn’t move them. Or this year. (So far) they removed players they deemed cancers. Not for rebuild purposes.

They stated rebuild but moves that bring value aren’t made (yet)

They are not gassed they just lack top end talent who can win by themselves. No team can play the way the Flyers have to play to win for 82 games. It’s physically and mentally impossible. Pastrnak and Kucherov can win games by themselves. Colorado can play 20 minutes and beat the bad teams of the league. A good powerplay can make up for lazy 5 on 5 play. This is just who they will be until some higher end players arrive.

Completely agree. I'm surprised it has held together this long. They're still not by any means out of it.
