Your change has been quite dramatic. You were right there with the supporters but now you mostly troll the Canucks. It almost seems like your position is dictated by what others do on here. It seems to me to be that some will take a stance solely based on what will get a reaction, if the reaction gets other like minded individuals then it feeds on itself and becomes a free for all poopshow.

There has always been an edge to comments here, and personally I never minded the harmless banter, jabs, bustin balls, just some levity. Then we have the malicious mean spirited comments meant to malign an individual, their thoughts and comments. This isn't needed or wanted and certainly doesn't enhance the purpose of coming into a hockey blog to discuss the fortunes of the team.

If I enforced the CoC when someone called someone an idiot, moron, slurper, guzzler etc., there would be maybe two posters left.

People need to have the attitude Lefty has, that guy takes more jabs than a heroin addict living on the streets and yet laughs it off and pokes right back, no malicious intent coming from him.

Please let's be a bit more understanding and less confrontational to each other, everyone has the right to their opinions without being called a moron or idiot.

It doesn't take much to make this place tolerable. You can drown out the BS by having multiple conversations happening at the same time. I went in the Habs thread years ago and was impressed that there were many different topics being discussed at the same time. It takes full participation of everyone who comes in here, not just the regular five or so.

So maybe those pussies that tucked tail and ran should have contributed more to the quality of this page.
