One fix in projected lineup: Ginning out, and Erik Johnson stays in. - bmeltzer
Bill, what do you think the plan is for Ginning, part of the plan for the future or is he going back overseas? |

And there it is.
I said back a few weeks ago when the question was asked..what to do when the injured return. I stated I wanted to see them sit Drysdale and give him the summer to fully heal, play Ginning and Attard and sit Staal, 7th dman in Johnson, but I also said expected the vets to play and the young guys to sit, as it is the way of Torts. |

I like the way Ginning has played, even more so than Attard. Vets are going to play when push comes to shove.

I think tonight is going to tell us a lot. It's a game they should be up for emotionally. The coach has come out and basically said that players talk themselves into being tired. I think he's taking away an excuse for them. Myself and others have been expecting this team to crash for a while. They've been basically playing at a playoff level intensity all season. It will be interesting to see if this was an emotional let down situation coming off of the tough 7 game stretch or if this team is out of gas. - MJL
did you read the date of when he said that cliff? |

Was just listening to the NHL Network in the chariot and they said that the Flyers have not won back to back games in 21 games. Ouch! Didn't realize that they have struggled that much. A loss tonight and they can probably schedule their tee times for the morning of April 17th. |

I’ve liked Attard’s game as well. - landros 2
Torts said today Johnson would be on the 3rd pair with Zamula. I haven't been impressed so far with Attard, but he is young and needs to time in the NHL. |

It's always surprising to me when Flyers fans don't realize what this team is. Many have been elevating this team to more then they are. They're 3 games below .500. They've never been anything more than an average team at best. I have a suggestion for a nice house plant that Tortorella can put in the spot that he had picked out for the Jack Adams award you had him penciled in for.

I said he would be among the top 3 finalists IF they made the dance. Tocchet will win it now most likely cause it was always between him and Torts. You can wipe the sweat off your brow now that the threat of him winning it has greatly diminished.

Huh? You repeatedly asked me what I was going to do when the Flyers made the playoffs and he won the Jack Adams.
There was never any sweat on my brow. I told you what the scoop was months ago. That he had no chance of winning it. What are you talking about?

If actually seen a big difference between his recent call up and what we saw when he first arrived. He’s not mistake free, but he seems more stable in his own end. That to me is what stood out when he first was up. I think Johnson gives them the best chance to win… |

Eric Lindros Thinks the Flyers Mishandled the Aftermath of the Cutter Gauthier Trade
“I would have focused on just saying, ‘We wanted Jamie Drysdale and we had to give up this player,’” … “That’s how I would have dealt with it. I wouldn’t have publicized the situation. I would have just traded the kid.”
“I had a great time in Philly,” said Lindros. “But if he thinks he’s going to have a better time someplace else, then go for it. It’s a player’s right. The better the city and the organization treats a guy, the more it’s going to attract guys. That’s a big part of it. |
