merci Karine!
Alex Tuch, repêché en 2020. les Canadiens n'ont plus que quelques mois pour décider s'ils lui offriront un contrat ou non. éventuel joueur de 4e trio, au mieux 3e trio.

Yay! Looks like Captain Vanilla 28 might be back playing for the Habs before the seasons finished......jfc. - Snots33_77
Meh ... just one more year before he's gone.
Another one of our previous GM's panic moves, he only traded our 2022 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick for him.
Anyone wonder why Molson canned him?
We still have one more year before HuGo can really get serious cleaning up contracts and make room for prospects. Next summer (2025) will be interesting.
Christian "Devoid of talent" Dvorak....... - Snots33_77
depends on your expectations, in the right "chair" he could be fine, it's his contract that ruins everything lol.
besides, if he can put in some games this season and be ready/healthy at next year's TDL, perhaps Hughes could actually turn it into something slightly more interesting for the team, who knows.

My expectations were always very low with him....lower than his point totals.....lol
Never liked the guy. He was a completely different player in junior with the London Knights and his game has never translated to the pro level. He's had hints of good play this year....but as Garf said.....the price paid to acquire him in a panic move to replace KK was the final nail in the coffin for me with this player. Unless he can pull (I can't believe I'm going to say this....) an "Armia" and completely get his head out of his assssssshole for once, we might not dislike him and his contract (and the price paid to acquire him) so much.

There was no way he was ever worth that, to begin with. What a feeling for MB....getting fleeced by the worst team in history!!

so basically you're saying that your expectations for him are higher because of what it cost to acquire him...

Haha!! Well, i thought a change of scenery would benefit him coming to the Habs as he was a Coyote lifer. He managed over 130pts in a season with the London Knights. I thought his offense would pick up. But he's the same dud it seems no matter where he goes or who he plays with. like i said, i started to like his game here and there this year.....but he's an overall thumbs-down for me with no redeeming qualities and i want his contract gone. Just my opinion.

Meh, who did he really get to play with in MTL?
Not saying he woulda been a scoring machine, but that was never the role (or wingers) he was given.

oh I agree with your assessment, except maybe for the "no redeeming qualities" part, when he's healthy he can be a nice complement to your lineup in a secondary role, just not at that price.
when he got here I was hoping his offensive numbers would rise if he was put in a better context than in Arizona, but nope lol.

After the Kotkaniemi fiasco, Bergy had to find a center pronto so he had to overpay ... that's what I call panic management. I won't even mention the Danault and Mailloux PR fiasco.
So happy that Molson finally saw the light and decided to clean house and that a total rebuild was needed ... we can finally look forward with hope to see a good team in a few years instead of a bunch of recycled plugs.

there would be as much complaining, but slightly less intense and with less hatred for the guy lol. - Pat1993
Just like I never hated Drouin, the person, don't hate Armia or Dvorak. They do not seem to cause problems and seem to play with effort, but they were given contracts / acquired with expectations that were unrealistic.
If they leave and have a solid season, like Drouin this year, good on them.
They are just not a fit on the team for what was expected and now just use up a player slot that could be used on a kid to gain valuable NHL experience.
(And cap space, which is not a big issue right now.)

I think it's safe to say though his left column stirred up all kinds of emotions for you.
