Like the majority of what you post. That makes zero sense.

you really buy that? he wants to be a GM. - hello it's me 2050
If you know anything about him the title isn't important to him. He a scientist, enjoys the work he does, testing models, improving processes, and he's been happy to leave all the old-boys-club, glad handing and deal making to Waddell.
Also guessing when Waddell retires he'll be the guy and he'll find another Waddell type to AGM for him. |

Tulsky has done an excellent job there. His strategy has blind spots like everyone but I wouldn’t hold him not getting a GM job as some barometer of his talent. If anything it’s an inditement of the league as a whole that he hasn’t been given a chance. - psuhockey
He could be the best GM candidate in the world and he'd never get hired by the Flyers because they simply do not value a modern approach.
Which reminds me. I wonder how the Flyers analytics dept spends their days. It's not like Torts would ever use their insight. He still hasn't mastered simple math like 12 forwards and 6 defensemen on a consistent basis.

Maybe he should have been a little more critical. He’s got his best roster yet, another early exit and this narrative is going to change. - ClaudeFather
If he becomes available would you have interest? Or would you roll w Torts and bass ackwards "accountability" shctick?

The Flyers single biggest issue is the lack of elite talent but offensively, the coaching just isn't there. The coaching staff certainly knows how to coach checking and defensive play and the PK. No clue offensively though. It's just grind out every chance you can get. Which is why they have to play at such a high energy level just to compete. - MJL
As much as I like Rocky Thompson, the Flyers need a new offensive voice, especially on the PP. The Flyers should be about average (18%) with the talent they have. Even this year that would have made a big difference. |

This is what Eric Tulsky's LinkedIn profile reads:
My training is in inorganic chemistry, and I spent ten years working as a researcher, manager, and project leader working to use nanomaterials for biological and energy applications.
So in other words, he is a nerd that has never actually played the game. It's a scene out of Moneyball. |
