Tampa had a bigger reaction to Stamkos hitting their own player than the Habs on the ice about Guhle getting cheap shotted by Doucherov. |

Let's all hope Joel Armia keeps playing like this for at least another year.
He's one of our best players out there, actually fitting quite well with Newhook (who's also looking great). |

Armia...the enigma.
I know it is mental and not physical with Armia. Can he remain where he is mentally next season? The Armia we see since December...he is worth keeping. The mental mess he was is an worth poop.
Which one do you will you get? |

Armia / Newhook / Gallagher doing their best to help with secondary scoring, but this should be a 3rd line, not a second.
will give them credit for playing hard, and getting in some secondary scoring.

Yeah, he can be a really solid 3rd line player, able to move up in a pinch (injuries or penalties, etc...). Good on the PK, as well.
I do not see him being bought out or traded over the summer.
Maybe at the TDL, if he remain focused like he has been since returning from Laval. |

if he plays well next season...do you trade him at the TDL or keep him for lets say a 2yrs contract? He will be 31 in May |

I suspect getting rid of the Gallagher or Anderson contracts might be hard, if impossible, and given some youth are starting to make their way to the NHL, there is no room for Armia regardless of his performance.
If they can trade him, they will.
Or they let him walk.

Complaining that they take too much bad penalties, female doging that they are more valuable on the ice, sending them to Laval.
2023 Xhekaj would have been all over them last night

I think there's a difference between defending your teamates and taking dumb penalties Fred. You can have both.

Sometimes you gotta accept that an enforcer is going to take some penalties or risk getting injured, but we can't live with that and we have what we have for the last decade at least, very soft teams.

rolling with 4 dmen after Guhle was out and Xhekaj getting ejected of the game sure would've been great. |

It really would have hurt our chances to make the playoffs, you're right. |
