I think they do, recently they get gloved to the face alot in front of the net, couple of bigs hits in the neutral zone. RHP, Caufield, Gallagher, Evans. Guys taking liberties agaisnt Slaf who's our best our second best player right now (were lucky he can handle himself) and they just kinda just rollover.

The Kucherov hit is one we see often in a game, when the defence goes back to get the puck, but this was a little more dirty than the usual. Perhaps the players on the ice, at the time, did not see it / think it was dirty until after the fact.

I am not in their headspace, so I cannot answer.

But clear dirty hits should be addressed right away, regardless of who is on the ice - even if they have to jump a player.
