i was willing to give him the second one because he was screened even though i don't really wanna hear a 9'17" goalie complaining that he's being screened.

no he didn't whine. i'm just saying he was screened but i kind of wish he'd just looked around the defenseman. it wasn't a crowd in front of him and he's a giraffe so he could work a little more to look around (or over!) the screen.

he stopped a real nice little play with his right pad where he had to butterfly on the 6th shot (the sabres shots come so slowly you can count them) and he hasn't really looked too bad getting down there. it looks like maybe the weakness is the blocker side and it might be bad.

he said himself that he's just concentrating on staying in the net and not doing anything too crazy yet. although when he does play the puck he's done it pretty confidently and effectively so far.

oh they have a chance, but there's a momemtum. they've been losing more often than not the past few weeks. can't afford to do that. certainly not againts BUF.
