Yeah. I really thought they could make the playoffs even after trading Walker. Boy was I wrong. I can’t believe how badly the goaltending has been recently. I guess Ersson has just lost his game.

Yea I knew they wouldn't go far, but really was hoping they'd make the playoffs. The Walker trade & the injuries to Seeler and Drysdale (even Risto as he is better than Johnson & Staal) really made a difference

But Seeler and Drysdale have been back the past few games ... Walker was not this pivotal to the Flyers. The problem is crystal clear, the Flyers are missing their best defenseman ... my boy RISTO!!!

Don't worry, this is the Flyers. They're experts at putting lipstick on a pig. They'll have some spin to sell it. The head cheerleader POHO Jones is already crafting a message.

We'll see, I am not sure. I understand the skepticism, but they have a lot of wingers in the organization younger then TK who are already in the top 6 or project to be there.

Not going to be great PR to extend TK in the summer after this horrific choke job. Might just be a little further away from contending then the Flyers braintrust believes.

I’m not so sure he will be getting a huge extension now. DB will probably have a price and term in mind and if TK doesn’t see eye to eye that he gets moved.
I would rather DB do what’s best and trade TK without even discussing an extension.
TK is a luxury they can’t afford.

He's already used that. One of Tortorella's major coaching blunders. It was posted today that at the time Couturier got injured. He had played over 800 minutes while Frost had played 400.

But Seeler and Drysdale have been back the past few games ... Walker was not this pivotal to the Flyers.

Ersson has played more games this year than in any year of his career previously and has done most of it since Hart has been gone. He’s probably just hit a wall. Additionally, the team hasn’t been playing well in front of any of the goalies. Remember, BOB hit a wall in his rookie season. So I haven’t lost confidence is Ersson moving forward.
