The Flyers have had no finish this entire season The difference is they are not getting good goaltending. This has been a major factor. But not the only one. There have been players on this team that have just stepped up in these last 5 games. Frost 1G, 1A in a -5 (and you can't tell me he is out of gas since it was posted he has played half the minutes of Couts) and Farabee with no points and a -4. They are not the only ones for sure.

Everyone upset right now just bought into the fools gold all season long. Long term, this losing streak continuing through the last 4 games would be the best outcome. They need a higher pick to hopefully find a true #1D. Finding elite talent is the only goal at this point and being a bubble team doesn’t get you that talent. I don’t want another 2014-22 stretch where they’re just in endless mediocrity.

That’s probably not achievable but 12 is a possibility. If the Flyers get into the top 13 they should get a really good prospect. The draft by publications seems to be 12 deep and someone always goes off the board.
