Crazy thing is that I thought they competed very well vs the eastern elite during that 7 game stretch. I thought we were in a good spot. Since then, we’ve collapsed against the bottom feeders. I’m really surprised how fragile they have shown to be.

Konecny, without the puck, is holding the stick with one hand while holding the other arm as if it is broken. If he's still hurt, perhaps he should sit.

Aside from some other issues, he seems to be overstaying his shifts where he's been clearly sucking wind and making mistakes clearing the zone. He lucked out on one such shift at MSG, but he was completely gassed.

No need to buy out if they are rebuilding. Which seems to be your take. Rather just waive him if need be as maybe that forces him to retire. Unlikely though. Probably end up working for the Flyers in some capacity.

No better way to make up for losing control of the puck on a breakaway (no shot) than by blowing coverage in the defensive zone.

While upset as a fan, you know he's trying. Can't be fun for him.

unfortunately it won't be until 25/26 until we can move on from alot of these contracts and fill in the team with some elite talent if possible (though UFA)

Unbelievable stat shown in the first period, the Flyers in the last 7 games have had 88 high danger chances and only 5 goals, while their opponents have only 55 high danger chances but have 13 goals. That pretty much sums it up, the Flyers can't get a save when they need it and offensively they couldn't turn a screw in a brothel.
