Who do you want to match up with in 1st round?
I’d be happy with Nashville or Vegas at this point.
We have matched up well vs the Predators and Vegas goaltending is very suspect currently.
Lak are boring af. - dbot
The Canucks. Too bad that's impossible. Some other team will get lucky.

We have 11.6 million reasons to love Petey I mean...he finally scored a goal last night!!
- LordHumungous
He looked good the last few games, going to the net and finding soft areas to shoot from. That was a very good shot on a very good goalie.

I'll mention this first since I think it's an offseason inevitability, Boeser makes the most sense to trade. Brought his value way back up so you can sell high, least important out of the very good young group. Need to retain Hronek and trading EP is not worth mention(especially everyday), clearly they have committed to that player. I would be happy to see him stay, but it makes sense to sell high too if we can keep building around Miller, Ep, Hughes, Hronek and Demko I think we have a good core going forward. |

Must be tough when every year "this is the year" but then it isn't for the same reasons. Year after year. Let me look into my crystal ball: Your goaltending and defence play poorly. Shocking |

This is the first year of the window for us, need to get some playoff experience here. I hope to win our opening series, that would be success. As for winning out, Teams like Colorado and Dallas will be hard beat. Much harder to beat than Edmonton. |

If we could get max value for Brock, it’s not a bad call.
Mikeheyev needs to go, but it’ll cost.
Garland is another option I guess, especially if he keeps boosting his value.
Joshua seems like another priority signing with Hronek. |

Ya Joshua I would love to see back. Don't think you can trade Miky. Garland has been very good, I think you keep him but I wouldn't mind if they sell high on him either.

Mikheyev might be a buyout candidate.
Or traded with a sweetener.
Would need to acquire some wingers to replace them all tho. |

You are not the first to mention it. Bonner has mentioned it and so have I. It is up for discussion but it is double standards on here. A few weeks back a few of you mentioned how crazy it was to trade a core piece like Petey when the team was in first place and rolling along fine.
Now while the team is still at the top you are suggesting trading a forty goal core player who is still young and very good two way player. I am not suggesting it is the wrong move but you were one of the guys barking at other for suggesting trade a top core player.
I am of the thought now after thinking about it for a while to keep him and move on other players like Mikheyev. If you bought out Mik and bring in Likker you have Boesers new contract covered. |

Surprisingly well this year!
I'd certainly trust Demko over any other Canadian goalie, excepting Hellebuyck. |

I feel like buyouts are a mounting issue at present. I also don't know if Joshua would be so effective without Garland.
I like Boeser. I think after all his struggles and his massive turn around this year, he'll be a loyal Canuck for the longhaul. I would be hesitant to trade him unless the haul was quite large. |

Preds aren’t in the right division for you guys to be able to play them in the first round, 2nd place plays 3rd in the pacific.
