I like Boeser. I think after all his struggles and his massive turn around this year, he'll be a loyal Canuck for the longhaul. I would be hesitant to trade him unless the haul was quite large.

I am of the thought now after thinking about it for a while to keep him and move on other players like Mikheyev. If you bought out Mik and bring in Likker you have Boesers new contract covered.

Very few wingers are, they have to be exceptional like Kane, Panarin or Kuch. Any complimentary player is open to trading imo. We disagree on Boeser's value. I say he is more than a complimentary player.

I never suggested trading Mik, I said buyout. His cap hit for four years is not that bad. In year two it would be a 2 mil hit but the cap increase will compensate for that. Year 3 and 4 it is 1.5 mil.

Remember cap is going up and right now Canucks are not building. They are tooling as a contender fitting in pieces to the puzzle.
