I feel like buyouts are a mounting issue at present. I also don't know if Joshua would be so effective without Garland.
I like Boeser. I think after all his struggles and his massive turn around this year, he'll be a loyal Canuck for the longhaul. I would be hesitant to trade him unless the haul was quite large. - micah555
I like Boeser as well.
Would love to keep him, but tough decisions will have to be made at the end of the year. |

You are not the first to mention it. Bonner has mentioned it and so have I. It is up for discussion but it is double standards on here. A few weeks back a few of you mentioned how crazy it was to trade a core piece like Petey when the team was in first place and rolling along fine.
Now while the team is still at the top you are suggesting trading a forty goal core player who is still young and very good two way player. I am not suggesting it is the wrong move but you were one of the guys barking at other for suggesting trade a top core player.
I am of the thought now after thinking about it for a while to keep him and move on other players like Mikheyev. If you bought out Mik and bring in Likker you have Boesers new contract covered. - VANTEL
Mikheyev has negative value, isn’t happening. Other teams need to be willing. Boeser isn’t a core player, he’s a very good young complimentary player. Very few wingers are, they have to be exceptional like Kane, Panarin or Kuch. Any complimentary player is open to trading imo. I really like Boeser and Garland, but selling high on either is just good business. Keep building around the core, you’ve got your top centers, d pair and goalie. Excited to see where we go! |

Hanifin: 7.35 X 8 year - what does this mean for Hronek? He has to be under that, no? |

We disagree on Boeser's value. I say he is more than a complimentary player.
I never suggested trading Mik, I said buyout. His cap hit for four years is not that bad. In year two it would be a 2 mil hit but the cap increase will compensate for that. Year 3 and 4 it is 1.5 mil.

Team chemistry can be tricky with sending out popular guys. What would you be selling them for?
Remember cap is going up and right now Canucks are not building. They are tooling as a contender fitting in pieces to the puzzle. |

Preds aren’t in the right division for you guys to be able to play them in the first round, 2nd place plays 3rd in the pacific. - ALEDDO

What I find funny is I mentioned trading Boeser as an option to manage the cap only once and you've brought up me saying that multiple times and called it a double standard a couple of times because you feel mentioning the same about Petey is off limits. Yet I mentioned trading Petey if management signs him for too much probably 10 times this season and you created some double standard narrative none the less.
It's simply a case of you cherry picking to help justify your non stop complaining about Petey.
...and yes, it would be foolish to trade Petey in the middle of this season. |

Dude you have some real serious issues. You love twisting everything.
Learn to fu cken read. I said Booner and I have talked about it. I never gave a number or an amount.
Go see a doctor about your condition FFS
I mentioned double standards and that was directed at Neem. There were others also that could be assumed but I never mentioned names.
I know Makita and others don't want name calling and page after page of arguing, but I am going to tell you I think you have some real mental issues.
That is all I will say about this and not bore everyone on here with nonsense. |

Fuck you're stupid. - A_SteamingLombardi
Hm? Have I made an error somewhere? Preds ARE in the central are they not? And a 2nd place team can’t play a wild card from another division can they? Always a sign of intelligence when rather than saying anything of any substance you just go straight to attempted insults.
(They last part is sarcasm btw, I know you won’t get that intuitively) |

This might help you?
The First Round
The division winner with the best record in each conference will be matched against the wild-card team with the lesser record.
The wild card team with the better record will play the other division winner.
The teams finishing second and third in each division will meet within the bracket headed by their respective division winners.

That doesn’t actually help me seeing as that’s what I’ve been saying. I think you mean maybe this will help your friend there. I know it’s confusing that 2nd place Canucks will play whoever ends up in 3rd while Edmonton plays the wild card team. |

Ok, here….Oilers aren’t in the division lead, as you’re suggesting, and they’re not going to catch the Canucks, as you’re suggesting.
NHL Western Conference playoff bracket
Here is how the Western Conference playoff bracket would look if the season ended April 10:
Dallas Stars (C1) vs. Vegas Golden Knights (WC2)
Colorado Avalanche (C2) vs. Winnipeg Jets (C3)
Vancouver Canucks (P1) vs. Nashville Predators (WC1)
Edmonton Oilers (P2) vs. Los Angeles Kings (P3)

You say that but Van is losing to teams like Arizona and Edmonton is spanking teams like Colorado and Vegas. We are four points behind with two games in hand chum. I know it sucks to face reality. |

Yikes, it's hard to insult someone on something personal when you don't actually know anything about the person. It's a mighty bold assumption to think that just because I like the Oilers that I am Albertan. Following that logic, based on the intelligence on this forum you must all be American?
