Imagine cheering for a murderer or a rapist. You'd need to be in some kind of cult.

I'll be watching the NCAA Frozen 4 tonight instead of watching the Flyers take an absolute beating from the Rags.

What are they teaching kids in school these days. My teen nephew/niece were surprised when we recently talked about this and I told them he got away with murder. They thought I made that up. Makes you wonder |

Late with this joke but watching this matchup will do more damage to my eyes than looking at the eclipse without glasses.
Game 80 and trotting the petrified remains of Staal and Johnson out there. Gonna go out swinging (and missing) to the end. |

It’s going to be a beauty. The only thing that matters is getting to 11. Dare I say 10. Feeling a bit sassy |

Depending on the corrupt area in the US, basically teaching nothing of importance. I just saw they are releasing old board games and making them less difficult and competitive for Gen Z.
Luckily last night I just spent the night helping the 15 year old middle child with her debate homework. They had to create a political party that focused on current issues and where the party stands. The questionnaire they had to answer really showed the bias how they were worded and what the agenda was. I did the best I could to help her find her OWN opinion based on pros/cons, but I could clearly see what she thought at first was based on misinformation spread with nothing to back it up with.

Didn’t the judge ask for his autograph? Everything in the trial was a circus.

Even 30+ years later the circus is still the same. It has nothing to do with truth or facts, it has everything to do with perception, loopholes and spotlight chasing. Most of these judges aren't even qualified to clean my toilet, let alone make life changing decisions.

I was layed off from work at the time. I watched a lot of the trial. The prosecution was badly overmatched by the defense paid for by OJ's millions. Anyone else without the financials would've been found guilty.

The players didn't quit. They've been completely gassed for awhile now. All the Coots and balls stuff was just Torts trying to get blood from a stone. Notice how he suddenly changed to a more understanding, softer tone after the recent drubbings. - Tomahawk
All I hear on the talk station is the team quit on Torts because of the Coots health scratch and the soft / balls comments after the Islanders game.
Coots had 1 goal in almost 30 games and that 2nd period was a pathetic performance. Both were correct assessments.
It’s always the coaches fault from Hakstol, Berube, Vigneault, Yeo, Gordon… but the players have very little accountability for their actions.
I get the team doesn’t have enough talent but effort and wanting to play within a system would be that much more important if they want to be competitive against better talented teams. For the most part they have been playing that way except since the “ quantlet” stretch. And in that case they are playing teams in their talent range.
They maybe gassed but what team isn’t that time of year? I guess they would be CRUSHED if they did make the playoffs!
Lot of things to fix with this team and I believe drafting AND developing those players is the way out of this mess. This year have definitely been an improvement over the last several years.

I don't know why some are struggling to understand that the Flyers situation with being out of gas, is not the same as with most other teams. The question is really if the improvement is going to truly lead to anything. In my opinion it's not. Its the same situation as when Fletcher was here. More likely to hurt them long term than help.

because kids need to be taught that if you work really hard, have dedication to your craft and persevere than you can grow up to be famous enough to kill your ex-wife.
