I know what was he thinking there!
Seriously though DOC is at a different level tonight. - Tojo.
We’re so (frank)ing back! |

Well at least he can't pass to the other team for a couple minutes. |

If we get 0 points tonight, our chances of playoffs go to 23%. 1 point here would be huge. |

He’s having the single worst game by a star player I’ve ever seen. Hell of a night to pick to do that. |

I know it was only because guys were tired after the PK but don’t hate the two headed monster with bunting line at all. Need to get desperate |

If the Pens tie this... I hope it's with 10 seconds left. Still will be a rough 10 seconds. |

Well... It was a fun few weeks. |

Well that ends it.
I've never seen a team abandon the front of their own net so much as the Penguins. Another goal where the opposing player is just standing there by himself.
Having said that, Jarry shouldnt be afraid to make a save. Both goals he has let it have been nothing special. |

Ran one goalie into the ground and let the other goalie sit cold for too long. Exactly what you want to do when you have two goalies that have had great seasons. |

Jarry has to make the save on that 5th goal. Short side, very weak shot, not sure what he's doing on that. Didn't even get close on it. |

Whelp... The good news is only 2 games remaining of the Jeff Carter era. Fingers crossed on Riley Smith too. That dude did nothing but come up small for this team all season. |

Doing some quick math - so bear with me if i mess up something.
Penguins need to win their next 2 games. That would give them 90 points. We technically could lose one it OT as long as the 1 win is a regulation win.
Ideally Boston takes care of Washington like they took care of us. In that case, it doesnt matter who wins the Washington/Philadelphia game.
The wild card (pun intended) is the Red Wings. That point we handed them looms large now. We need Montreal to take one game in regulation.
Islanders I have locked in to that 3rd seed in the Metro. Technically we could get it if we win both and Islanders loss both. |

EK, man… EK.. - Victoro311
When you're down 2 with 3 mins to go you try and keep it in. No problem with that play. The rest of the game however ... |

I’m gonna sound like grinder here but he needed to just wack that sucker in and hope for the best rather than finesse it |

Washington might make the playoffs with a -40 goal difference. That is absolutely insane. |

The good news is that the Wings are a bad team and can 100% (frank) this up.
The bad news is that Larkin is a good hockey player and will probably carry them across the finish line |

That point we gave Detroit could honestly be the difference. I could see Washington dropping their game versus Boston or Philadelphia. In that case, wed still control our own destiny. But with that point we handed away to Detroit, they would be in control. Beat Montreal twice, and they would be in.

So many blown 2 goal leads in the 3rd.
GM that sat on his hands until the trade deadline.
Never should have even come down to this. |

Not that the forwards had a great game but this one’s on goaltending and defense (specifically Karlsson). Goaltending can be laid at the feet of mismanagement by the coaching staff but defense was just (frank)ing bad and has no excuse |
