We'll know for sure when they change the rules on LTIR regarding cap space.

so what has to happen to make him count towards the cap? he was cleared to practice and we are clearly not in the post-season yet, so does this create a potential cap issue or does he need some other level of clearance before that would happen?

If you dont find the lack of production from Mika's line at least a little worrisome now then you will be in for a shock if they lose in the playoffs. You cant have no production from your first line. 5 different wingers now and he still cant find a way. This is on Mika.

Personally, with the playoffs locked up and probably at worst a 2 seed, I think they really really REALLY… need to consider a line shuffle of some sort. We simply cannot go into the playoffs with 1 scoring line. People may not like it… but its gotta be considered…

Full practice doesn’t mean he is playing. He has to be activated to play. There should be no way he plays any of the last two games especially with almost a week before the last regular season game and playoffs. Need to see how he has reacted to contact and if any setbacks.

Think we all assumed the fall he had at practice was another concussion. That was all super mysterious. Maybe still just dealing who the effects of the first one and took extreme precautions. Who knows. Great sign to see him back on the ice though.

That would def be a shot in the “arm” of the Rangers if hes ready to go for the 1st round of playoffs. My idea of moving Wennberg to RW1 would be significantly easier with Chytil taking back his spot as 3C.

Everything else aside he literally can’t be activated off LTIR until the playoffs because we’d be over the cap

I didnt even read page 1 lol. I threw the idea out there couple games ago when it was becoming clear Roslovic was not helping Zibs line at all.

However yes I agree to agree with you. I think Wennberg is the only guy not on the BLT line that might have the skill set needed to work with Zib and CK. They need a guy who can play with the puck and facilitate passes.
