There’s an agreement in place with the NHL and CHL where players in the CHL can only be promoted to pro if it’s directly to the NHL, until the player has completed his last season as a 19 year old. Not sure about Misiak but Lardis definitely cannot play in Rockford, he can however play for the Blackhawks were he to make the team. Misiak not being North American may exempt him from the NHL/CHL agreement?

Misiak was drafted outa the USHL so he's not bound by the NHL-CHL Agreement. He could have played AHL this yr and can next yr as well. ........ I might see similarities in his and Slaggert's game. North-south players, good motor, IQ kinda guys (we'll see about Misiak's IQ at higher levels though).

Edit: Easiest way to remember who's eligible to play where is anyone drafted OUTSIDE the CHL can play anywhere. And anyone drafted out of the CHL in their 1st yr eligible for the draft will have to play 2 more yrs CHL unless they make the NHL.

Know they are both Centers, but wouldn't mind seeing him center Bedard for a couple games to end the season.

I bet 40% of the guys who played centre in junior are NHL wings.

Frankie Nazar continues to play centre because he takes the biscuit to the middle, even if it is occupied by 2 or 3 opposing players.
And like Bedard you can play him in any of the three forward positions.

Did I say he has terrific short area speed at both ends, is an exceptional forechecker and high end hockey smart attacker?

...and he finishes, something everyone hopes that Ludwinski will eventually be able add to his hands smarts and speed.

Why not? They both play a similar brand of hockey, both good skaters, i can see a potential pain in the ass line to play against forming.

Maybe the other player to that mix may be a Lindstrom. Maybe not

Id rather be hopeful about our prospects.

It's interesting as well that KD is including this season in Nazar's ELC. Sends a message to the other college kids.

Kucherov will win scoring title. Neither Kucherov or McKinninon had a point in their respective games today. I guess both preparing for playoffs and did not play hard tonight
