I understand your point but it’s wrong only because of the sides they play on.

Gio is a left side guy and Liljegren is a right side guy. The only guy they truly have that’s either side anymore is McCabe. Safe bet to say he’ll be with Benoit tho. I’ll admit Benoit is my surprise tbh, but I don’t mind being wrong at all on this one.

I just dont care. I want the best lineup possible. And Lily is better then Gio, i think. But Gio may be a good option if he's rested and Lily is struggling

Either way, Leafs wont be doing Richard-all in the playoffs with this goaltending and special teams.

Yes and no. Due to Sammy’s confidence after this season I’d roll with him or at least ask him what he wants. This game means nothing point wise so it’s more about the player’s confidence. If he wants to fight his way through it let him, I get that. If this game mattered I wouldn’t but kind of doesn’t so let him choose how to use it.

Meh, its not the playoffs. Terrible period, lack of willingness to shoot the puck. Putting weak sauce players with Matthews is a bad look for Keefe. Hope Reaves gets to pummel the piece of poop that hit Liljegren. How bad does the hit have to be for an NHL official to call 5 and a game?

Sure, the whole team played like ass that period (and the 3 periods the game before) but my main bone of contention, as stated in my post, is that goaltending and special teams are specifically the problems I think will sink the team this year. Not exactly a stretch to think so, either, given previous playoff performances.
