Welcome back Demko. Impressive for first game back.
It has to be mentioned that our 2nd and 3rd goalies and defensive play by the skaters made pretty good out of what could have been a disaster for almost a 1/4 of a season. There was a lot of negativity and hand wringing expressed during this time frame but the Canucks come out of losing their starter by clinching a playoff berth with home ice advantage, winning the Div, still in a battle for the conference and the story of this season continues to be written. What a ride so far.

It's hard to be without your top goalie. After last years nightmare of goaltending, anything less than amazing was hard. Credit to Silvos and DeSmith for their winning ways. They aren't the best goalies (yet), but they totally showed up and produced when needed.
I will also say, as an interview and attitude, I love DeSmith. Seems like the nicest, most giving, and team focused guy. Even my wife who dislikes hockey and the weak interviews of most players ("the guys... they just did so much. The guys gave it their all. The guys... ") enjoyed his interviews. Humble, generous and focused.
