It seems the best option is if the hawks do not win the top lottery slot is to draft 3rd or 4th..because the only way they get one slot of the top two is to win the lottery, but,

Selecting 4th might take emphasis on selection Demidov the guy who cannot use his inside edging, and THEN it doesn't "use-up" our lottery ability in the next couple drafts.

I am not going to be happy that a win of slot number two counts as a lottery win when it seems very equal to the next couple selection prospect-wise.

Drafting 3rd or 4th means we can win the lottery in 2025, or 2025.

Funny how I also thought Nazar already showed better attack skills and aweness than Reichel from his chance this game too.

Reichel's strengt in German league as a young junior was as F-1 and a strong wall battler and he is not there yet in the bigs.

And had a nice read to get a stick on a CAR Ozone cross ice pass to pop the puck outa the zone. Very nice....... Kid is playing centerman in all 3 zones and is showing good positioning Altough the beastly Staal was his check on the goal. Kid's not only showing skills but also IQ and awareness.

True true. Would have been nice to get a win but they draft no worse than 4th. I know Dots has been saying Slaggert’s here to stay and won’t spend time in RFD.

Nazar even aside from the goal didn’t look out of place. It’s one game but I was curious if he’d need time in Rock City.

If this is his what he brings on a nightly basis (again goal aside) I don’t see him spending any time there.
