Nobody ever said he wasn’t necessarily ready to play on nhk ice. That’s not all there is dweeb. There’s more to young player than whether or not they simply can play - Stayin alive
Listen here dufus, none of what you posted shows that Gauthier was not ready to play in the NHL. I'm not surprised that I have to explain to you that his ability to actually play the game of hockey would be the ultimate determiner of if he is ready to play in the NHL. As has been explained to you before, which it seems as though you're unaware. Every NHL team has player development coaches whose responsibility is to work with young players and help them handle life in the NHL. You have not made a reasonable case that Gauthier was not ready to play in the NHL in March of 23.

Didn’t they at first not sign Gauthier when Fletcher was still the GM? So that’s not on DB. And if that’s the case, it’s ridiculous of Gauthier and the agent to not at least hear out the regime.
Also, if it happened right after Fletcher was fired then I can totally see how it could be a misunderstanding as the management was in flux. Both sides share blame there.
As far as reading the room, GMs negotiate with agents not players. They’re not sitting across the table from the player where they can read a reaction. |

I don't feel that not signing him in March of 23 was disrespectful to the player. If so, then is every decision made by a team on a player that may not be what the player wants, disrespectful?
I agree that the team caused the issue. - MJL
But as I said, rumors of promises from Fletcher....if the player was told he would be signed by Fletcher, than Briere says no, there could be a feeling of mistrust. He might of felt lied to, and after looking forward to playing in the NHL that year, he gets told no.
I wasn't there, but something broke this partnership. I just don't feel it was disrespectful of Gauthier to not talk. If the team was told of his stance, then they are being quite ignorant pushing what they want.

Yay we get to talk about Cutter ALLLL summer!! - Glak18 This is about the 15th day that he has been discussed all day long on here. I really don't get the obsession with the situation. That horse has been killed 35 times already. Just imagine when he starts playing games for the Ducks. They'll be more comments on him than Torts if he's still here.

Batum is the only sixer that is here to play.
Embiid content with his US roster spot hangs out at the 3 point line.
Gutless organization. |

He had tons of good looks too. Dented a post from in close and the Tampa Journeyman goalie stood on his head at times. |

Hey retard. The case was made by db moron when he didn’t sign him. HE obviously didn’t feel cg was ready for whatever reason you (frank)head. What I need to prove to your dumbass is nothing. And what you think about cg being ready or not doesn’t matter. What matters is the opinion of the guy who signs him. So yet again you are wrong. Please explain to the expert why cg was ready to play. You’re a moron |

2 guys
Seguin and benn for the stars. Both signed massive contracts prior to being up for ufa around the same age as konecnys will be due. Stars have managed to be highly competitive even though those players had their best years prior to the contracts.
A combination of good drafting (Robertson) and the ability to bring vets in on team friendly deals (pavelski) has offset them.
I guess there’s an argument for just signing top 6 forwards and looking to squeeze the margins in other areas.
Laughton apparently emotional after the game. Hopefully he’s sent on his way. |

Yes they beat a crippled butler heat team. Embiid played well closing out the game but he’s as soft as they come standing at the 3 point line getting pushed around by small forwards. He’s soft like Teflon and you know it blacky. 2nd round warriors |
