We've seen out future core players improve, we still managed to get the 5th best odds in the lottery despite grabbing 10 more points in the standings.

Yeah fair point if he didn't score on the rush Ryder was kinda useless. Cole can kinda hang around dangle and make better passes

If the first line remains as is going forward, all 3 of those guys can put the put in the net. I think you will see goal and assist totals fluctuate from year to year while overall point totals will be fairly consistent, given the opposition cannot focus only on CC to shoot at the net anymore.
