i was kidding. the "you're dying talk".

they're probably gonna fix some levels with some meds and tell me that going from "normal" 210 lbs to "probably a little light" 185 lbs didn't entitle me to a milkshake whenever i want one (too much sugar has me at an "at risk" level for future diabetes).

i do love a good milkshake though. i just had a caramel cheesecake flavored one last night!

also, the body is weird and a bunch of these tests could have come back wacky from stress and anxiety and stuff with everything that's going on.

the level is not in the red area on the results but the actual number is in the higher area and indicative of being in danger of diabetes in the future. pretty sure we can actually fix that.

and yeah, the condo thing's just been a huge mess and i hate where i'm currently at and the move in date keeps getting pushed back, etc. first you lose everything you own and then every step after that is a pretty stressful because you don't usually go through this so you don't know what's going on, who pays for what, what papers should i sign and who is just trying to take advantage of you because of your situation?, etc. i guess it is kind of a lot now that i think about it.

yeah, that part sucked.

picking out the stuff really made it feel close. i was weeks away according to the last news we'd heard.

it's like getting time added to your prison sentence right at the end.

it bothered me pretty bad for a day or a day and a half and then just had to deal with it. it's reality so there's no use worrying about something i can't change.

i understand it. i went through a major flood and lost a bunch of stuff plus my finished basement.

it wears on you but at least his insurance is covering most of it. doesn't make it easier, tho.

a few of us did file complaints with the Department of Insurance. i'm sure nothing will come of it but the township sucks and they cause unnecessary delays and at least they'll be on record.
