watching the break-up day interviews now. not sure they will break up that PK after the year they had. and part of me thinks they want to hold onto any guy that "wants to be a Flyer" after what happened with CG.

Flyers really rushing to judgment on surgery for Risto. Why not try to rehab it for a few more months?

They probably tried to see if it would heal without surgery. Getting cut open should always be the last resort.

I think it's cool they got a baseball team's head surgeon to fix an arm injury. He should be an expert.

They probably tried to see if they could rehab this. Possible inflammation got in the way of seeing the extent of the damage. Lots of variables.

Having surgery can set a player back in his off season training. He could've had the surgery already and been well on his way to healing. If it was an important player for the team, I'd be livid.
