The cap would be really tight for the following 25-26 season, with roughly $13M in space and needing to sign most if not all of Quinn, Peterka, Byram, Ryan Johnson, UPL and Levi.

Still, you left room for those extensions with the ability to make more cap space if needed.

Still $1.6M in cap space for next season if I'm right on the above.

He's a pretty good player coming back, good on the Dot. Scores 50pt consistently and is in the Selke voting almost every year. If you want to dump him this year then it's not a bad deal. That's what I am saying Yes to. I personally would wait until the TDL or next offseason when his actual money owed drops significantly
