Injuries are a slight concern but other than that if anyone but Matt Ellis ran that PP he would’ve been a 35 goal 75 point guy in 70 games - sbroads24
Injuries should be a concern for everyone playing. It is an awesomely brutal sport. I am shocked that more people are not hurt. |

Tage was bad for 2-3 months this season. We’ve gotten a clear explanation why. I don’t understand the worry. - sbroads24
What's the worry?
That 22/23 was his peak? It might have been.
That their top line isn't good enough? I think that's a real concern.

peca
patty was shot due to injuries
people forget aside from that 1 great healthy season, he only played 268 games in 6 seasons and 84 games was in that magic year with mogilny
so 184 games in 5 years - homiedclown
My bad, I meant in management. Patty for Pres of Ops or Peca as a Coach. |

agreed
and I have no doubt he is a first line player
just not sure if it's best for him to be a center or winger
too bad eichel refused to have him on his wing a few years ago |

I think that concern will eradicate if they're healthy.
Peterka is legit, Tage is legit, and so is Quinn/Tuch.
it's lines 2-3 for me |

Cozens with JJ/Quinn/Benson feels more solid and proven to me than whatever they decide for the other top 6 line. It was their true best line for a good chunk of the season.

Not sure I agree there. Can't remember a time Cozens was ever part of a good line for a "chunk of time".
Mittelstadt was this teams best driver of goals this season at center. Followed by Tage, then Cozens
On ice goals for/60
Mitts - 3.69
Tage - 2.89
Cozens - 2.42
In terms of team ranks, all of Skinner, Tage, Tuch were in the top half
Benson and Cozens in the bottom half |

Is Kulich a 3C or Savoie a 3C, someone is getting traded if one can't do it. Just to many Wingers in the System. |

May be neither. Kulich, I think, has the better chance to remain down the spine. I just don't see how Savoie can cover the defensive responsibilities at his size/strength right now. |

Kulich is on Fire in Rochester right now, wish we would have gotten a better look at him. Shame he was injured when they probably would have called him up. |

Lindy with Appert as an assistant to take over after he leaves I think is my favourite. Nothing to do with his connection to the organization, more to do with what he did in New Jersey with a team that we could emulate (but with goalies who can make a save).
Berube and Sullivan are also awesome options if they can put together a good staff (Both St.Louis and Pittsburgh had their own fair share of special teams issues this year).
Time will tell - Swedish_Jesus
Seth Appert is not going to be an assistant coach here.

Cozens will bounce, Benson is spike, Olofsson is a 60 point player so I'd value him at 5x5

He was slumping since we sent him back and he just got back to form maybe a month or so ago.
I didn't see any reason to bring him back again this year. Guess that's just my opinion.

Well when he came back from injury, No it wasn't the right time. The 2 weeks it took for him to get through that injury would have been. |

I do think Cozens will be ok.
Needs to throw this season out, get some new perspective. New coaching may assist in how he views play by play as well.
That talent and ability is definitely in there. |

Cozens was the go to defensive C. I give a lot of credit for doing that well.
Benson is already one of their best two way forwards. I give him extra credit as well.

Not getting Kulich or Rosen real games was a wasted opportunity in a wasted season.

perhaps. perhaps not.
they were seemingly overwhelmed and sheltered the first time around. rosen did ok I guess. i was a proponent for getting them some games this season for the experience of it all and to absorb any lessons.
i didn't need it twice and neither did anything to deserve to stay, unlike ryan johnson.
they need a strong summer and need to come here and be way more assertive.
ive got 18 year old 13th overall pick zach benson outplaying them. i need them both to show more in the nhl. |

Benson had an extended rough stint too. Takes some time to adjust and they didn't let that process start. KA's never had a plan for these kids and it bothers me. The longer he waits, the tougher it gets. Now he needs to win next year to keep his job. Time for 4 rookies? |

Vasi and their powerplay will again be the key to any TB success in playoffs this season.
Probably even more so this year.
