So you have a deep seated jealousy of hanging out with the Canucks team? Wow you sure stuck it up there good in the drunk tank sweets. - Quinn's Quest

They say goal songs should have a local flavor and be easy for crowd to chant to it and pick them up. Not my type of music but Loverboy with “lovin every minute of it” might fit that? Crowd Wo oh chant etc etc easy for kids and all. - Quinn's Quest

Hopefully they can re-sign him, it won't be easy. - VanHockeyGuy
I agree. It is game one but they are the type of players that you need for the playoffs.
Garland Suter JTM Boeser Joshua Zadorov Hughes and Demko are they types of players that need to come back next year. I will even add Hoglander and maybe Myers. These are the players that have been carrying the team most of the year. |

Ya, will be very tough when, Zad, and DakaDaka are the priority signings. Need to get really creative and trade some salary away, or do I dare say "buyout?" Mikheyev is the prime candidate. - carsonagenic
Mik will probably be a buyout candidate. A player that I would keep an eye on moving is number 40. He has not been playing close to his salary for the last 2 to 3 months and I don't see it getting better.
My first prediction was after a few years people would not like his contract, I will change that to a people will not like it after a few months. |

Yeah no, unless you want to go the lamer route and pick any sort of drek by Nickelback. If we're going the 80's route, why not Glass Tiger "Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone" or Chilliwack "My Girl" |

He's right in line behind Hronek IMO. He wants to stay with the Canucks, he's been a great addition: big body, hits, scores, PKs, has chemistry. Of course you don't overpay, but you make it work. The Canucks scouted him out – he was on the St Lou farm team that was shared with the Canucks for a bit, and they eyed him from there.
Also interesting you say every season there's a Dak, which recent seasons have the Canucks had someone of his ilk? - NewYorkNuck
I think a huge part of Daks success falls on Garland. Their styles fit like a glove. Not an OJ glove but a regular glove.

How would you know if I repeat it every day? Last I heard you said you were too busy for this site, even though you are on here every day and every night telling people how they should feel.

Hey, that glove not fitting is one of the main reasons OJ was a free man until he wasn't. |

I’m not advocating liking any type of music just suggesting what fits a stadium crowd for a chant after a goal. The first one you suggested sort of is in line with what they play now Don’t you forget about me. Right? Sort of a cheeky hey we got a goal on you haha. The My Girl one you put up not sure how that goes for a chant.
The goal song should be about, from what I have read, something that picks up the crowd. Plus be easy to join in for all to repeat in a couple words. Maybe Buble should get one written for them lol. |

I wont deride the thread.
It was a feel good win last night. It is too soon to call but I do wonder where Canucks and Preds fit in as far as playoff strength. I thought Avs were unbeatable and they had a lot of flaws last night. Hellybuck looked under average. Leafs looked like playoff Leafs. I hope this trend continues.

So cute of you two. Funny how you two made fun of that then go on and use it.
Now to your hockey point agree on it. Those two have immense chemistry. That’s why Canucks should get a deal done to keep that duo going past these playoffs. |

Agree with some of that lol. If anything down the stretch the Canucks under Tocchet showed they can handle some pressure and hang in there. They could have easily folded with the Demko injury or even last night after 2-1 for Nashville. But that's how teams develop attitudes and winning cultures plus Hughes is literally bringing this club back from being down when it's needed most. A true Norris guy now and that's exactly what the team needs from that style of leadership.
Avs and Jets game was sloppy beyond all measure. Both Goalies just awful but Hellybyuck does have a history of choking in PO's a la' Luongo/Rinne and a few others. A shootout won't end well for the Jets they were awful lucky last night to keep that game in check with 13 goals lol.
I just want to see all the CDN teams advance and see where they land. Would love to see TO get past Boston and EDM to trash LA but have a funny feeling LA is going to show up for this series and there is no guarantee McD is 100% coming off that injury. No guarantee EDM advances here...gonna be a tough one IMO.
WPG was my Mom's team so always want to see them do well but man going into shootout games with the Av.s they will end up bounced IMO.
Fun times right now with the Canucks back in. Fans have been waiting awhile for this and just embrace it all no matter how we do. Need the PO experiences and so forth. |

WTF are you talking about. I have never once responded to one of your posts. I have also never made fun on someone having a NN like Daks or Hogs.
Stop being so defensive, most of the time I don't even read what you post. Don't take it personally there is a lot of garbage posted on here and a lot of repeated stuff so I skip by stuff on here. Also anyone who wants to skip the garbage I post feel free to do so.

I can't cheer for Tor. So I am not behind all CDN teams. Wpg I want to win, of course Canucks also.
I have mixed feelings about EDM. McDavid scares the hell out of me so I want them gone unless Canucks get beaten out.
