I can't cheer for Tor. So I am not behind all CDN teams. Wpg I want to win, of course Canucks also.
I have mixed feelings about EDM. McDavid scares the hell out of me so I want them gone unless Canucks get beaten out. - VANTEL
I felt the same way about TO for so long but at this point in the Bettman era any CDN team will do lol. Had enough of that clown the cup needs to be back on CDN soil.
EDM is an anomaly like the Leafs a bit where they need some depth on D and goaltending. Only time will tell if both clubs can get a bit of both this PO's. |

I hope not, I think we match up better against the Oilers than the Kings who we have a ton of problems against. |

Agreed, the Oilers are definitely the preferred matchup. They get less scary past the first round when Mcdavid and Drai have been thrown around a bit |

I don't mind an LA series. Avs Oilers and Rangers are the teams I don't want to meet.

I don't think McCrybaby handles being shadowed by Miller too well.

Can't complain about getting gooned up when the guy manhandling you is a 100 pt player - NorthNuck
True... and you don't even need to goon him up. We've seen Miller do it with persistent pokes, prods and mean words.

Maybe Miller pulls a Kesler and tells McD to "Give your balls a tug". |

I didn't like it at first, now I think it's one of the best goal songs in the league. Team likes it, the crowd likes it.
It definitely fits, especially given that the Canucks are one of the most popular picks to disappoint in the playoffs. - NorthNuck
Same.
At first I didn’t get the song choice.
It’s grown in me and is fun for casuals to sing along too.
I liked when we did the bouncing souls “ole” as a goal song and would go back to that if when it gets changed.
If we needed it to be a Vancouver band, I’d probably pick the real Mckenzies. Doesn’t exactly scream “west coast” but would be a fun anthem. |

I like our chances against either in a 7 game series. I think we could figure out the Kings. |

I hate the goal song. I was a teen punker when that song was huge as well as the trendy movie it was associated with. Can't warm up to it still. Such a weird choice anyways.
I won't let it irritate me and depending how far the Canucks go, I may warm up to it. It will be a case of this though.....

Very much so. Zadorov as well. But still, lots of Hockey to be played. - Load Management
Zadorov can be a beast in the playoffs. When he gets going he can intimidate any team. Both great pickups. |

That was one of the best games I've seen Boeser play. Nice to see he can play that way - Jkuzzi
That one puck race down the ice which he barely lost might be the fastest I ever seen him skate. Finding a new gear in the playoffs.

Jeff Patterson reports: Preds opting to take Monday off from practice. Team meeting at hotel, but staying away from the rink.
It's as usual in Van with a normal practice. |
