Who is your comp right now? A little Gustavsson, a little Skinner. Georgiev is in the middle. That seems reasonable to me.

With another good year, I still wouldn't put him in the 4m group. Maybe some inflation pushes it there.

You're right in your follow up post that the Swayman deal sticks out as a higher end comp for a one year deal, especially with the totality of his quality play compared to UPL's one season.

Oettinger's $4M deal came after 2 strong seasons and a very strong playoff series.

Adjusting both of the above against the higher cap limit would be $3.6M or $4.3M.

Both are high compared to UPL with their better respective track records at the point they signed.
