That's fine, but that's not the argument, the argument is that Rempe scored a goal, so he must be good, Ryan Reaves scored a goal in the Cup final, it doesn't make him a good player.

Matt Rempe wasn't even a good player in Junior. His best season was as a 17 year old where he scored 31 points in 47 games, and as a 19 year old he scored 12 points in 24 games

Players play roles. Roles are needed. There are certain players that play those roles. Those players are contracted to play those roles. If they play their role well they get a bump in $$$. You don't have to be a "good hockey player" you just need a niche. Niches pay.
