Actually thank you. I’m in the epilepsy ward. They’ve got me connected to 17 electrodes through my skull and directly to my brain to collect info as I seize. If my brain is stubborn it won’t and I’ll just be stuck here longer.
It’s a room with 9 more epileptics, RNs who specialize in it, routinely visited by neurologists and neurosurgeons, and tech experts who know the stuff being used on me like it’s another body part for them.
If I’m going to seize this is the only positive place for it so I get how you feel but please know that it’s essentially the opposite here. |

Were any of you aware that the NBA puts out a report on the officiating for the last two minutes of any game where the score was within 3 points during that 2 minutes?
And they admit when they frank up?

yup - and we're told that it impacts the selection of officials. The NHL may be the most protectionist group left in major sports.
An aside ...maybe it's time for the NFL to stop using 65-75 yr old white men to officiate a fast paced violent sport? I'm just waiting for some old guy to get killed out there. |

I attended a coaching clinic by the Leafs about 10 years ago (Babcock spoke to us!).
He said that he really limited the duration of the morning skate - he didn't want guys wasting energy.
Kinda sounded like he wouldn't mind cancelling it altogether, but you know hockey players are creatures of habit. |
