Tortorella’s message got old by the end of the year. He used all his bullets and got no response. The season could go off the rails very easily and very early next year.

2-They can’t do anything stupid like offer Stamkos a 7 yr $10 mil per in FA!

3-They will be forced to play the kids because they are cheap!

4-They will have a full year to see if the combo of Ersson and Fedotov is NHL worthy!

5-Instead of Staal and Johnson, maybe they’ll be forced to play the whole year with Attard and Ginning as the 3rd pair!

As a bonus, as long as they don’t do anything stupid with long term contracts, by the time Michkov and Bonk are ready to play in the NHL, all those bad contracts of Atkinson, Peterson, and Risto will be off the book! This is a win win and maybe then they can add veteran piece or two to component these young hopefully stars in the making.

cant see them having both attard/ginning at all. Hell maybe not even one of them. Guess depends what they do with Zamula as 5 spots are already locked up on D.

Even up front spots pretty much set unless trades pr UFA signings.

Next year could be a huge disaster especially if they move out some of the popular players in the lockerroom. Would be the best thing for the franchise.

Trade Sanheim and Calgary would be a good spot and Winnipeg as the back up.

Trade Laughton most likely a TDL move to a contender.
