Kelly is right. Marner was the best player in the first. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I think he was just trying to say something positive about him. I thought Bert and Domi were our best players. |

Let’s go with 9, because it’s my lucky number…

Marndog playing like 2 mins more than 34 is insane - gravyface
Ya, I understand trying to get him going but he’s both been unlucky and still playing nervous. Needs to get a point or do something to get his mojo going. |

Uh huh. Dream on. He was not good at all.
He needs to skate. His game grinds to a halt in the playoffs. No speed, avoids contact. |

It was a good period.
Everyone played alright. Benny and Reavo getting the crowd into it late. |

Marner blew by the puck as last man in that created a breakaway for Boston while the leafs were on the pp. no where close to the best player. He needs to figure out what’s going on with the mental side. |

Sammy 100% was the best Leaf that period. Without him is 2-0 Boston. |

I remember when you boys signed Soupy, and someone in your thread asked me what to expect.
My answer was something along the lines of “Amazing speed, creates really exciting scoring chances, but be prepared to be frustrated when he never, ever buries it.”

It's too cute all the time. The last shift pressure by Boston was all because of a flyby in the Boston zone by Marner. |

Great show. Was expecting a big war last episode so I’m a little disappointed.
As good game, but haven’t played it in 10 years. |

Watch how often he is blowing the zone early and the D and centre have nowhere to go up that side.

He’s a top player in this league but he isn’t playing anywhere near his potential. Let’s just hope leafs go far enough for him to start figuring it out. |
