Yeah you’d have to be something unique that’s for sure. As I mentioned I remember going there as a Boy Scout when I wasn’t even 10 yet and each trip was kept to a specific location. Those side trails actually make a lot of sense when I think of this. I’m willing to bet that’s where our camp outs were.

The first time I took my wife (from BC) home to Niagara, I pointed out the Niagara escarpment and she almost pissed herself. Like a small hill in BC. Also, she wasn’t too impressed with the ski hills we drove past.

Oh when it comes to mountains BC leads the way for this country by a long long ways that’s for sure. I’ve got a couple former bandmates living out in Vancouver now, one in a boat, and they love it.

I guess the one thing Ontario has to be impressed about are the huge lakes which are not salt water. That’s a notable thing for sure.

A lot of people go on "walks."

Years ago, my parents walked across England. There we tons of people doing it - pretty well established. A truck would take your luggage to the next hotel/hostel/pub on the route, and you'd spend all day just walking through the English countryside.

They also did a segment of a really big one in Spain - some sort of pilgrimage.

In North America, there's the Pacific Coast trail (watch the Reese Witherspoon movie) and the Appalachian Trail (read the Bill Bryson book A Walk in the Woods).

Well apparently Matthews has been sick for a few days and played through it last game. We are without a doubt the unluckiest team in the league.

Nice part about being epileptic is I’m not allowed to drive and haven’t in damn near a dozen years so I’m in decent shape when it comes to walking long distances.

Leafs are going to put nylander on ltir in February due to migraines and he’ll be set to go for game 1 next year.

I know a guy from Edmonton who sees himself as a cowboy. Every fall he takes two horses and heads to the mountains for a month. He rides one and the other one carries all the supplies and the next day he alternates and rides the other one. No tent, just a bedroll and a campfire.
He carries a rifle and a pistol just in case. He asked me to go one year and I’ve never said no as fast as that in my life.

I’ll check those out for sure… I’ll see if my gf can find paper copies… won’t lie cause I know it shows my age a bit but I can’t stand reading things digitally… feels like work not enjoyment to me… probably all the time I worked as a cad draftsman and needing to read codes that way
