I frankly don’t care what happens to him. I don’t wish injury or anything like that to a kid. Lol….I’ve said from the start that the maturity of the Kid and the lack of professionalism from his agent and the kids parents was astounding. It sucks because the Flyers really need kids like this. I may be in the minority….but I think Drysdale will pop in the next two years and make the trade a little more even. - landros 2
That is where I am at - at this point I could care less. Unfortunate but sounds like the kid is immature. Hopefully you are right w Drysdale.

they could have afforded him, it was a rare occasion good move by chuck , as he didn't want to sign him.
they can afford to make a splash if they choose. - hello it's me 2050

The Philadelphia Flyers aren't planning to sign Johnny Gaudreau despite speculation that the star winger is interested in playing for them.
"We don't have the cap space to pursue those free agents," general manager Chuck Fletcher said Wednesday, according to Kevin Durso of 97.3 ESPN FM.
--------------------
C'mon, technically Fletcher might have been able to afford him by gutting the team but the team was up against the cap. It's also a bit hilarious that what little cap space they did have they used on ND because he was just that important to make the young guys feel safe on the ice.

lol stop with that nonsense. It will not have any negative effect to anyone who may want to sign with the flyers. $$$ talks holmes.
it is disrespecting the other members of the team by plying him over someone who can contribute more. - hello it's me 2050
They'll bend over backwards to make sure Cam gets to play elsewhere, because Torts thinks he's such a "good pro". So it'll probably be a buyout. Or a hockey trade for another distressed asset. Or he'll be on the roster next season. In any event, I don't see them burying him. |

I saw this yesterday. And if it is even remotely true Quitter looks like the little female dog we all thought he was.
Whaaaa, they didn't try hard enough to woo me!
He sounds like a head games playing woman. - MBFlyerfan
Bury ND in the minors then call him up for the games against anaheim. Let quitter know that he chose to play against us and not for us.
Door security better check people's pockets for batteries that night.... he may get a philly welcome |

I think it's 100% true and I really want someone to take his head off next season when he plays the Flyers, if he even has the guts to play. - jd250
This, as I just previously responded.

The real story about what happened with Quitter and the Flyers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRS4VeuflIA - jd250
The real story. Speculation. Rumor. Innuendo. Trusted sources. Anonymous of course. All this to mitigate accountability for Briere and Jones.
If you’re going to draft 18 y/o kids then you better have someone on staff who can get into their head. It’s not Briere and Jones. Imagine how this ages if they make the same mistake with Michkov. Man up and take some responsibility.

This was not a marriage. It was dating. One party broke it off before the other was able to tap it. I dated a few high maintenance woman in my days. I blame me for not seeing the red flags early enough to avoid wasting my time and money.

Who does that? A spoiled little brat...that's who! I hope someone gives him the Derian Hatcher treatment (Crosby) in his first game against Philly! |

Should have put a laughing emoji at the end of it. And no, I'm not in therapy either although I'm sure some folks on here think I should be.
