The reports are from Don Taylor and Sara Civian, seems legit to me. The thing about an ACL injury is he could technically play on it if he wanted to, but he would be risking further injury.

With the reports that Demko is done for the entire playoffs, I would be looking to swap to Silovs sooner rather than later. If there is any chance left of the Canucks doing damage in the playoffs I think the odds are better with him instead of Desmith.

DeSmith beat the Oilers twice this year, pretty sure Silvos has never beat them. I think this coaching staff knows a thing or 2 about hockey and I’d expect them to not panic and play the guy that helped get them there.

I definitely think DeSmith should get another shot before Silov's gets thrown to the wolves.

Think about it this way, Silov's lost the starter job at least at some point this season. Not sure who they currently consider their starter in Abby when both are present but at some point Tolo was the go to net minder... so would RT be putting in the 4rth stringer if Silov's gets the nod?

I think as long as Desmith plays average tonight it'll be fine, the key is that the team needs to start scoring. The problems arise in round 2 if they get there. Desmith will get lit up by Edmonton.

When doom and gloom sets in with the fan base it’s over 😆, maybe Casey has something to prove after all it is a contract year 😜, like I said I think they win this series and maybe he has some confidence moving forward until Demmer gets back hopefully.

I mean, one of those wins was in October/November, so it doesn't carry much weight to me.

He didn't do well under the starter's load last month, I just don't trust him in a 7 game series where you play every other night against Mcdavid.
