No pun intended, but I think that’s what they call it now. The sponsored name is always changing there. I still call it coral sky because it was a great name for the place. Sitting in the lot tailgate party before a show while the sun is setting, it was indeed a coral sky. Sound is great there. I’ve seen a lot of kick ass shows there. - Ratsreign

If Ruff has input, and the needs that are rumored to be acquired, my bet for FA attempts are:
- P Kane top 6 winger
- Elias Lindholm 3C
- Nick Cousins 4C
- Sammy Blias - 4LW
- Kurtis MacDermid - Extra
- Vinny Desharnais - RD
I would be surprised if they landed even one of those. - washedup20
I'm not sure Cousins is a Center anymore.
Pretty sure they're targeting this guy for their 4th line Center need: https://www.capfriendly.com/players/nico-sturm
Which begs the question: Does that, along with the 3C need mean Krebs days are numbered, or are they focusing on 3C and new 4th line wingers with Krebs being the 4C?
On your posts about what they need and the amount of teams they'll be competing with, it comes down to will the Sabres be willing to pay the Price?! 🤣 |

It’s cool partying up on the hill watching the show, but spend the money to get up in the seating area. |

If dying young works, then it is working well. Even coddled prima donnas from Boston can't escape father time. |

Dallas is feisty, Eichel looks elite out there every shift, it's impressive.
I would trade, Rosen, Ostlund, Kulich, Savoie and Benson for Wyatt Johnston - he's that much better - what a stud. - washedup20
Wyatt Johnson has the following for quality veteran support: Tanev, Suter, Benn, Duchene, Seguin, Pavelski
Who do the Sabres have like that?
Not a (frank)ing soul.
I guarantee you that if Wyatt Johnson was on the Sabres, he'd look nothing like he does now.
In fact, switch Johnson and Benson, and I bet Benson would look like the better player between the two of them.
You cannot overstate enough how much it means to young players to have quality veterans carrying the heavy load of work, to allow them to perform at their best.
It's been the way the Sabres have been broken the most on the ice. |

Yeah, he looks better than he ever did here. Amazing what some effort does to a player's performance. Too bad the coke habit has gotten worse.
Not sure I'd do that but Wyatt is a monster. Dallas' system creates the best version of shooters. See Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz. Amazing players, but both probably pull in 5-10g per year being on that team. - QuinnFan

Krebs should be gone, he's a nothing player with 0 upside.

Never seen cousins at center in FL, idk if he even is the first to step in when center gets tossed from the draw.
This is the guy KA needs to make an offer that Zito can’t match, the guy who set up Erod’s goal.

Anybody do any more prospect watching for the 2024 draft?
Greentree is more and more compelling the more I watch. Super reliable defensively for his age. Plays the game the way it should be played. Has size. Super shot. The skating improved but needs work, that's the drawback.
Anyone value him over the D at 11? |

Greentree is intriguing.
I don't think I'd take him over any of the well though of defenders, but if none of them are left when the Sabres pick, then...
How would you rank these 3 forward prospects?
Iginla, Catton, Greentree |

Id rank them as hopefully not drafted by Buffalo because they traded the pick.

That's a good one. I think Catton and Iginla are on pretty even footing, but I put Iginla first even though a lot of the talking heads say the reverse. Greentree is a tier down, but brings a skill set we desperately need. I figure by 11, both Catton and Iginla are long gone.
