Damn, I thought the Leafs were losing to Boston tonight but I’m going to have to wait one more night before the clown show begins in Toronto. Gonna need a big bag of popcorn for this one. - Pacificgem
The next best thing to winning the Cup. Watching the Leafs crash and burn yet again.

It's important to close in game 5 if for no other reason to get Hughes some rest. |

Softwood talking about other people complaining is peak Hockeybuzz
Well it was ugly as it could be, but we found a way to win. They know that they need to step it up.

Good for Demko. However the reg. season injury and missing all this games will most likely not get him a Vezina this year but never knows how voting goes |

Demko still 'week to week' which likely means he'll be out at the very least a month. |

Agree nice to see Demmer in there for sure. He earned it. Hellbuyck reg season was quite impressive all through too bad he can't get it done for WPG in the PO's. |

If the club keeps winning I'd assume they'll find all the rest they can for him. And agree with the previous comments before in the thread would be nice to wrap this up in GM 5 and give Hughes and these guys some rest. Hate to say it but Petey as well could use a small break to heal and get his head right. |

I was told 2-4 weeks for Demko. Game 6 or 7 next series there's a chance for Demko.

Canucks fans are the saddest bunch in all of hockey. You folks have a solid team - looking decent through the first round so far, and still all your focus is on the Leafs.
It’s the only fanbase that cheers more for other teams to lose than for their own to win. You go on any other board and nobody, not a soul is even considering the irrelevant Canucks. Yet you look here and leafs are the topic each page. The vast majority of Leafs fans were saying they are cheering on all the other Canadians teams. No animosity at all. They don’t care enough about your franchise to ever consider them a rival or even get passionate about. So sad. Now I see a clip of you beauties chanting in the streets “F@$& the Oilers” after winning last game in spectacular fashion with a great comeback.
Never won ever. 54 years and counting.

What's pathetic is you combing the threads for people being mean to the Leafs and their fragile fanbase. |
