Cooper is totally right about Bettman allowing the sunshine states to get the upper hand in calls and circumstances. Outside of the Rangers and Bruins, the northern teams seem to get the short end, almost every time.

This can't be real.

The best thing for this organization is for the Leafs to lose tonight. Stick a fork in this version of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Fire Keefe, fire Shanny, and start cleaning house as best as possible. Can't stand these greedy over-paid pre-madonnas. (And stop saying "this is why we can't have nice things". We don't have nice things. Just soft over-paid selfish players who can't get it done when it matters).

We will soon see how far away this team is when Boston gets put out by Florida easily in the next round.

They might actually win tonight, because Leafs are going to Leaf. But they are not winning this series, so I would rather it end tonight and major changes begin.

-I don't trust Tre at all, but let the new team president decide what to do with him
-Ask Tavares to wave his NTC, if not, ride it out one more season and under no circumstances resign him

I do not see this happen. He may also be resign to a 3 yr deal around 5M cap hit

-Offer Marner 11m Max! If he will not sign for that, ask him to waive his NTC because Leafs won't be resigning him. Let him walk and be remembered as the most hated greedy Leaf of all time.
- Domi can stay if he is willing to take 3-3.5M
- Bert can stay only if he takes between 4-5 M
- Brodie, Gio, Samsonov are obviously gone.

Bettman has the bottom dollar topping his list. Let’s Canada get the short end at every turn. Both TB & Florida have many empty seats in the PO’s. The Coyote debacle is a pure joke. Equity across the league has never been there. State tax advantages has never been addressed. All the above & more has made for an uneven fairness.

It's too bad that numbskull Keefe wouldn't go back to something that worked earlier this year. He had Matthews/Marner/Knees, plus Domi/Bertuzzi/Nylander on the top 2 lines. He put Tavares on the third line with McMann and Jankrok. The 4th line was Kampf/Revo and add Dewer. That might be a better lineup to throw at Boston, sheltering Tavares on the 3rd line. However, without McMann, it would probably have to be Robertson.

Very true sentiment. There needs to be some balancing of the taxation issues, from state to state to province. There also needs to be some balancing of the Revenue Sharing. Why should teams from the North be constantly taking in huge amounts of revenue and giving it to these sunbelt teams who have ticket prices lower than any AHL or CHL team? It's mind boggling that you can literally buy a plane ticket, a hotel and a seat for a playoff game in the sunbelt for less than you can pay for just a seat in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and New York City for a playoff game. It's ludicrous what the fans must pay up here and the sunbelt teams skate, with their revenue sharing and cheaper tax schemes below the Mason/Dixon line.
