Very true sentiment. There needs to be some balancing of the taxation issues, from state to state to province. There also needs to be some balancing of the Revenue Sharing. Why should teams from the North be constantly taking in huge amounts of revenue and giving it to these sunbelt teams who have ticket prices lower than any AHL or CHL team? It's mind boggling that you can literally buy a plane ticket, a hotel and a seat for a playoff game in the sunbelt for less than you can pay for just a seat in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and New York City for a playoff game. It's ludicrous what the fans must pay up here and the sunbelt teams skate, with their revenue sharing and cheaper tax schemes below the Mason/Dixon line.

This is my greatest desire right now.

Don't get me wrong, I think Marner is a phenomenal winger and will thrive on the right team. This one just isn't it.

Leafs need to balance the Force, so to speak. Need to bring in a bonafide 2C to relieve Snake and a stud defensive-defender (e.g. Brett Pesce-esque) to solidify the D-corps.

Not sure how we get an upgrade on goaltending, but Samsonov needs to go.

I took the time to look at that Cooper tweet floating around. It appears to be edited. The final press conference had him in a suit and tie and this one had him with a golf shirt with a suit jacket. The bottle on the table was in the same place, as was the background. He probably wouldn't have had two press conferences. His hand gestures show the editing from frame to frame. I'm guessing that this was photoshopped and the voice was from a translator to make it sound cohesive. Welcome to the new AI world where you can't tell if it's real or not.

The best thing for this organization is for the Leafs to lose tonight. Stick a fork in this version of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Fire Keefe, fire Shanny, and start cleaning house as best as possible. Can't stand these greedy over-paid pre-madonnas. (And stop saying "this is why we can't have nice things". We don't have nice things. Just soft over-paid selfish players who can't get it done when it matters).

We will soon see how far away this team is when Boston gets put out by Florida easily in the next round.

They might actually win tonight, because Leafs are going to Leaf. But they are not winning this series, so I would rather it end tonight and major changes begin.

What needs to happen:
-Fire Keefe
-Fire Shanny
-I don't trust Tre at all, but let the new team president decide what to do with him
-Ask Tavares to wave his NTC, if not, ride it out one more season and under no circumstances resign him
-Offer Marner 11m Max! If he will not sign for that, ask him to waive his NTC because Leafs won't be resigning him. Let him walk and be remembered as the most hated greedy Leaf of all time.
- Domi can stay if he is willing to take 3-3.5M
- Bert can stay only if he takes between 4-5 M
- Brodie, Gio, Samsonov are obviously gone.
- Edmundson could stay for close to league minimus
- See what market there is for Liljegren, (just too soft and inconsistent)

Next year will be a retool year, no expectations. See what we have in Cowan, Niemela, Minten, Hilderbeast. Give Robertson(last chance) and Knies top six roles to see what we have. Play Tiimmins more regularly to see if there is a player there. Roll with Woll (unless there is a goalie upgrade to be had)

Keep picks(unless it is a homerun younger player)

We may not like his salary but he could be an very good 3ed line center..Trade Marner for a 2nd line center and a decent Dman.. Use cap space to a couple D and depth.. Find a goalie to split time with Woll. I think if you can get a decent return or Robertson you cash him in

J6 was one of those cases. What can we expect going forward if the press has no scruples and will allow AI to manufacture a false premise? Seeing this and actually going back to see the real press conference, you have to actually look for every instance with the eyes, head motion and hands. Something like this could change the worlds future if it isn't eradicated from journalism. It means that you could be guilty and have to prove your innocence instead of the other way around.

I do want to see Dobson, a 6' 3" 24 year old right shot defenseman, with great offensive numbers on the Leafs. Lou is crazy enough to do something like this, trying to extend the window on the Islanders being a playoff team. Sorokin and Roy are not on the same page.

Any decent upgrade to the right side of the defense will make them a better team next year. Leafs can still keep Woll as the number 1 and also give minimum contract extensions to both Jones and to Matt Murray.
