Absolutely unreal that wasn’t called with the ref staring at it.

If the Bruins understood there was a 1st period to play maybe we wouldn't need to complain about stuff like that.

Lohrei was holding the stick. That’s why the hit looked bad. He couldn’t brace himself. Good non call. If you call one you have to call the other. Red let both go. I’m a bruins fan. I hate Toronto. But to be fair it was the right non call

It looked like he held the stick, but he didn’t. You need to slow the video…his arm was hooked behind his back.

2 games in a row where Bruins fail to show up in 1st period. Embarrassing.

And it was gift wrapped with AM out, but Pasta was ineffectual again.

This team is done and are proving to be choke-artists.

Look at it this way.
Game 5, they woke up in the third period.
Tonight, they woke up in the second period.
Saturday, they have no choice to start playing on time…

I won't hold my breath on that...

And someone needs to sit Pasta down and have a talk with him. He's playing like it's regular season.

I saw the replay on whatever channel this or something. You may be right. Bissonette called it out and although I generally disagree with him what I saw looked correct.

Well guess Monty knows he's toast...he's calling players out by name now, something a "player's coach" doesn't do. Specifically called out Pasta...not like that isn't warranted. Pasta's bestie Nylander had no problem stepping up.

So does my destroy and rebuild take sound crazy now kids? 2 years in a row similar team, same team construction philosophy same result.

Sweeney: Not the worst but he doesn't construct teams that can hang with the division in the playoffs. Say they beat Toronto(They won't) Florida will kill them in 5, maybe even sweep. It's time to move on.

Goalie Bob - Gone. This man has way too much say and power.
Montgomery and his entire staff - gone

For the vets:

Swayman
McAvoy
Marchand (stripped of the C with no C for at least a season)
Frederic ( Unless you get a good offer)

All other Vets trade and release. Acquire assets and draft and rebuild with a new identity. One that isn't soft and chokey like this current iteration.

Lohrei should be retained
Poitras, Beecher, Boqvuist listen to offers.

They're not winning poop as currently constituted. Way to too soft for the post season. This leadership group isn't leading and not settling these guys down. It's not working and it has been long past time for true change and a new identity.

Three takes.

Leafs played a pretty stifling game last night. .
Bruins could not make a play to save their lives.
Lohrei was the most dangerous Bruin last night. Just about the only Bruin with any composure in the offensive zone.

4. This team is taking years off my life.

A rebuild sounds nice until we all realize that the Jacobs family will refuse to allow one. They will fire/rehire management and coaches and continue to milk the regular season success for as long as they possibly can. I would like to see a new vision for this team. Unfortunately all we can really expect is "business as usual" .

Whining about the refs is the hallmark of a loser team with no balls. They're not playing refs, they're playing the Leafs who are bending them over sans Matthews.

Also kinda of interesting how much the team has elevated without him in the lineup. Almost like he is a massive distraction. Not that I'm advocating that Matthews is an issue but it's a really interesting situation.

That's all fine and good but it doesn't change my mind at all. It makes for crazy rational in justifying second and third rate plugs and dusters like Carlo, Gryz, Lindholm, Coyle, Zacha and DeBrusk.

You're going to sit here tell me that Pastrnak is an elite player. Is anyone watching the other series? Even true second tier players like Nuchushkin, Middlestadt, Hyman, Bennett, Kuznestov, Montour, Cirelli, Hagel, Point, to name a few out perform and are consistent over him.

In Bennett and Nuchushkin's case they do it year in year out. This guy is a regular season player the Czech Mitch Marner or Tavares and carries a massive cap hit. It's not good. It's not setup for postseason success.

What a despicable lack of effort last night was. To get 1 shot on net in the first period and a half, after getting only 2 in the prior games first period and a half is quite the feat. One that only our team could pull off.

Too many passengers with everyone playing timid. It's clear as day to me that the choke artist stamp that has been put on them has been in their heads since game 3. Zero physical play that lead to the beat down that was game 1. Zero patience with the puck when in the zone. Zero on the give a phuck meter. It seems like when you think they can't embarrass themselves anymore, they always find a way.

In closing, pathetic.

Pasta is getting zero support from his linemates. ZERO. Zacha is absolutely getting (frank)ing destroyed on the faceoff dot and they are constantly chasing the play.

Not sure where it ended up but it’s a sad state of affairs when through two periods Carlo had more shots on net than any forward…
