Avs?
But their star forwards were paid less so it allowed to them to pay for quality D.

- Fakepartofme

Yeah that Avs team had alot of talented depth.

Like my boy Lehkonen.

Yeah, it truly is amazing the difference in compete levels in the last 2 games vs. the first few games, despite Keefe saying he didn't blame effort in game 4.

Really dude? That was one of the flattest Leafs playoff games I've ever watched.

- gravyface

I honestly feel like this team has the mentality that they dont have to start on time and they can show when they want, pop in a couple of goals and win. Which admittedly has worked in the reg season.
It doesnt at all in the playoffs.
Come out flying and keep it going or you go home.

If the Leafs want to win the next game they are going to have to score 3+ next game and get a PP goal I think. Hope they can get some more offense going.
- Archaic

For sure.
Pasta hasnt really been a factor yet, Im sure he will make his presence known.
That PP is atrocious. What a joke.

The leafs also have to stay out of the box, the Bruins PP is 2nd in the league right now.

Bonesie's epic call on Willie's 2nd. 🥰

Gotta give Willie huge props for having the stones to pull that move on a breakaway.

- fifty__missions

Not a single "holy mackinaw?!?!"

Epic call though, put him on HNIC. He used to drive me nuts, calls like this make me miss him.

I saw little kids on their way to school wearing Leafs jerseys this morning, that's pretty good stuff.

Thank goodness Matthews is out with a severely torn labia. The Leafs play better w/out the pansy . I suggest one of you guys take a page out of the Tonya Harding play book and make sure he stays out of game 7. Good luck game 7.

Nah, I like having Woll there

Edit: But in fairness, it's not so much that the Boston PP is the second best, more than the Leafs PK is (I think) second worst. Been better of late, though.

It is now, yeah. Kids aren't really into hockey the way they used to be. Way wider appeal among kids for basketball these days. The only kids who like hockey at all are those who still play.

Well the Raptors championship probably has alot to do with it.

Let the Leafs win a few rounds or hell win a championship and you'll create memories for the young kids out there that will turn them into fans forever.

I don't know. Lots of kids are wearing Habs gear in Montreal despite the 30 years drought.

If Pasta had an answer for what the leafs have been doing to him he would have figured it out in the last 2 elimination games.

Kudos to the Leafs D for swarming him.

They really do not have many legit scoring threats, Leafs have bought in to making Pasta and Marchands lives hell.

Check his stat line from last night
0 goals
0 assists
0 hits
0 blocks
2 SOG

He played pretty well though. Again, I know he's paid for his loopdiloop goals or weird no look miracle passes, but the past two games, he has been solid in all aspects. Can't hate on him.

I so appreciate you taking time out of your day... and away from standing outside the courthouse in New York protesting the Trump trial. There's no factual reason to do that - and there isn't a single word you conveyed that make any sense.

please find a rock and climb back under it.

PS almost as bad a entitled Canuck fans.

that stats are actually quite alarming... the number of kids who play hockey beyond 12-13 is a huge drop off... I'd have to imagine it has a lot to do with the cost - and the changing demographics.
